Whispering Waters Cabin on The Creek

Whispering Waters Cabin was built in the late 1940's adjacent to a great spring in rural Northwestern Williamson County. The structure did not have any indoor plumbing until 1992, when I got tired of using the outhouse and washing in the creek under the bridge. The setting is surrounded by woods and lots of water, wildlife critters and many varieties of birds, including my two favorites; the Wood Thrush and seasonal Humming Birds. It's a quiet spot in an otherwise busy and congested world, that offers a safe haven for as long as the guest wishes to stay. The front porch is a wonderful resting spot to listen to the creek and birds. The cabin itself has only four rooms, but they are spacious and inviting. The fully supplied kitchen is ready for "gourmet" visitors interested in all things "gastronomical"! Or simply order out! There is on the property a large organic garden that I tend to all year, and a berry patch with in season blueberries galore! Nuff said -

Stuartā€™s cabin was a perfect quiet get away for my husband and I! He was a great host and very kind! Would love to stay here again, especially in the fall or when itā€™s cooler so we can really enjoy the outdoors!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Even though it was just for one night, we enjoyed the coziness it provided. Everything was provided and was very clean. We enjoyed coffee in the morning while listening to the creek, the birds, and the hummingbirds feeding on the front porch. It was an easy drive to the concert venue. The decor inside was nice and we enjoyed the photos and history of the cabin. The bed slept great and we are glad we chose this little cabin by the creek. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone!!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. Sweet little cabin and we were greeted with fresh flowers. Also hot teas available. Such a nice stay and Stuart was such a great host!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and it was beautiful! We used ingredients from the garden everyday for dinner and enjoyed getting our feet wet in the crystal clear creek. The house came with everything you need to make your trip perfect. Itā€™s in a peaceful location and feels secluded but also close enough to Nashville. I canā€™t wait to go back!

Stuart is amazing at communicating. The house is absolutely perfect. It feels like you are very remote but itā€™s actually very close to town. We had everything and more that we needed during our stay. The landscaping is perfect and the snowball bush brought back wonderful memories of my Auntā€™s garden with one that I loved as a child. If we are in the area again, we will definitely book this house.

We love this cabin! We needed an overnight stay on our drive from NJ to Texas with our dog. Property is exactly as listed. Itā€™s well-decorated and a cozy place to stay. We also enjoy getting dinner over at Jeffersonā€™s nearby.

Cozy and well stocked cabin, comfortable bed and comfortable pull out couch accommodated two couples. Stuart was very accommodating and helpful. The cabin is beautiful with lovely art and the property is full of birds and lovely trees and gardens. Great spot. Thank you Stuart. This is the place to be when you need to get away from a crazy, hectic life. Stuart is a superb host and makes sure his guests are comfortable and satisfied. The sound of the water in the creek, rustling leaves in the trees, and birds chirping happily whisper collaboratively, ā€œCome awayā€¦ rest your weary, tired soulā€¦.ā€.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and peaceful. There was calming running water nearby that we could hear. It was quiet and secluded. The property was beautiful and the drive there was scenic. The property owner was in contact and left a note listing helpful information. 10/10 definitely recommend :)

This little cabin was perfectly stocked with anything i could possibly need for my stay. The location is far enough away from cities you feel at peace in nature, but close enough to Nashville, Franklin, and other smaller towns i was able to make trips in for activities. I read through the guest book in the cabin, and it's clear that Stuart is a caring and responsive host (though I'm pretty relaxed and independent and didn't need anything from him myself). I accidentally left what turned out to be a cheap promotional item, and Stuart offered to mail it back to me, which was very kind but in this case unnecessary. All in all, a perfect and lovely home base for my trip to the Tennessee countryside! s
