This renovated Getaway Home is in a quiet South Nashville suburban neighborhood of established families that take pride in their homes and large well-maintained yards. It has a fully functioning new kitchen with granite counters and nice appliances and a BBQ grill in the backyard. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, One King bed and 4 Full-sized Double-Beds tastefully decorated for you to enjoy the comforts of home. A Sleeper-Sofa provides additional sleeping space for large groups. The whole house has wifi, internet and 2 HD TVs with 100 channels. Dining is at a table in the kitchen.
There is a washer and dryer available for you to use.
The lovely home is just south of downtown in a quiet safe neighborhood.

Unfortunately, it was terrible. Towels were filthy and worn out, pillows were old and flat. Bugs and ants crawling on floor, walls, ceiling, and chair. Dryer didn’t work, soup dish in bathrooms were dam near empty. I wanted a refund. However we could not find another place Friday night after we checked in. We’re in town for my daughters and my nieces graduation. I definitely would not recommend nor refer anyone. Please get a professional company to spray that house for insects, spiders, ants, and bugs.

Property served our purposes well. Online listing was accurate regarding proximity to downtown, Opryland, etc. However, the property is also located directly under a heavily used airport approach and, if you are at the home, the very low flying aircraft on approach to the airport can make relaxing outside a challenge. The property is clean, but somewhat dated (furniture, linens, etc could use updated and there isn’t a dishwasher. Owners/property managers were great to deal with and very responsive to questions, etc.

The dining and living room furniture were not at all as pictured. As a matter of fact the furniture pictured in our unit was also pictured in another of their units. The dining table was bar height while the chairs were table height making it impossible eat at the table. Living room lounge chairs had been removed. .

Perfect rental’. Everything i needed was available. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Jean the host Was very helpful. Highly recommended, plenty of sleeping space, fenced backyard. Clean. Only thing that would have been great to have had would be a small desk or work space, or coffee table. All workhad tobe done at the kitchen table which was ok since i was staying there alone

Great location if you plan to use the house as a base for day trips outside of Nashville. It's still relatively close to downtown if you want to hit Broadway. Neighborhood was quiet and felt like home. Hosts are super responsive if any issues arise. The AC went out during our stay and they offered to put us at another location while it was repaired. I would use these hosts and this house again in the future.

We appreciated all of the bed space! One. king, 4 full beds and a pull out sofa. It was a bit of a drive (about 25 minutes to downtown)....but for the price, it was worth it. Thanks!

In approaching the property I felt like I was pulling up to someone's house - nice neighborhood. Just average people and it was what I was hoping for. The property is well maintained given the age of the neighborhood and all of the needed elements were there, including washer and dryer. I found everything to be clean and taken care of so I could do my work and then kick-back and relax the rest of the time. I really appreciated the fact that there was a walk-in shower as too many are tub only. All of my linens were clean and for my three nights I felt like I was home. Thanks Brent & Jean... I look forward to my next trip.

Our vacation on this property was nice. We had the whole place to ourselves.Place smelled super clean. House was very clean as well.Communication with the property owner was easy and they were quick to respond back. Would look into staying here again.

This place is very deceiving from the pictures. Items in the pictures do not look like or have been replaced when in person. It smelled like mold, kitchen cabinets and refrigerator were filthy, and dead bugs were on the floor and all over the windowsills. Dishes weren’t even put away when we arrived. The main bathroom had mold buildup in the corner of the shower. The furnace vent looked like it hadn’t been replaced in 40 years! One of the bedrooms had no ventilation or fan explaining why it is listed as 2 bedrooms and not 3. The sheets and towels did appear to be clean, however, some of them had been left in the dryer. The kitchen garbage can was full of mold at the bottom. The owners were quick to respond when in communication, however, I would not recommend this place.

The house was cute and location great for us. However the house was not as clean as it should of been. The interior doors needs to wiped down. The refrigerator definitely needs cleaned as well as oven as we had to wipe out the refrigerator. Mouse droppings in drawers and cabinets. Overgrown back yard.

Our girls weekend at the property was very nice. Communication with the property owners was very easy and they were very quick to respond. Check in/out was super easy and they were very willing to work with us on times. The property was very nice, the floors were a bit dirty, smelled a little musty at first (figured due to covid not many visitors), and the living room furniture was not exactly as pictured, but still ok. The beds were very nice and each bed had towels ready and waiting. I would definitely stay at a property owned by this owner again.

We spent the weekend with lots of activities planned so we didn't spend too much time in the house. The house had plenty of bedrooms. The beds were very comfy. But it's on the older side and needs some updates. The owners were very responsive which was good. A guidebook with instructions or recommendations or sign in book would be a nice touch. All in all it was nice and suited our needs perfectly

Stayed here for a short Nashville trip and it was absolutely perfect. Jean & Brent were very prompt in every way we communicated. They left a great recommendation list and all amenities were above and beyond what we could’ve asked for. Great place to stay!

Both of the hosts were prompt in their responses and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying in the Gillette Home. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean ad plenty of towels were provided. Thank you for making this trip run smoothly!
