"Beautiful house on a beautiful spot on the lake. The little waterway the house is on is incredibly peaceful and a great spot to kayak or canoe. The house itself is great. We especially loved the massive windows overlooking the water from the main living area and from the master bedroom. The firepit by the water is also a perfect spot to relax. Our small children loved everything about it. Communication with Cherie was excellent and she was extremely accommodating. We would definitely love to...

"Overall, the house was fine, but a few issues did make the stay less pleasant than it should have been. Primarily, the master bedroom bed is a full size, NOT queen as advertised. It also feels like sleeping on pile of bricks. The caretaker brought a foam top after we complained, which was appreciated, but we still opted to move to the much softer queen bed in the basement. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived. Not the owner’s fault, I realize, but no one ever responded to my VRBO...

"This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp."

"The second time I have rented this property. Not as clean this time but fully equipped. The whole outside including chairs could use a good power wash. A bat was found in a corner of downstairs bedroom. CO2 monitor went off 3 times once at 5:30AM. I assume after calling the number it was serviced as it never went off again although no follow up call or note was left that it had been serviced?"
