Come and enjoy the beautiful ocean front Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf. We are located on a sea turtle habitat. Turtle sightings are daily! Relax and watch sunsets paint the sky on the lanai where you may catch view of turtles swimming and whales breaching. Amazing ocean views of the neighboring islands of Lanai and Moloka'i from inside and outside of the condo. Take a dip in the heated saline pool. Fire up the grill on 1 of 3 ocean facing BBQs. Stay cool with the ocean breezes flowing through the louvered windows and updated overhead fans.
Mahina Surf 204 is a comfortably furnished condo designed to allow you to experience the beauty of Hawaii in a tropical setting. Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. This condo sleeps up to 6 within the 2 bedrooms (1 master + loft). If you choose to stay in the condo has a fully equipped kitchen which you can still enjoy the view from. There are 2 bathrooms inside (2 showers + 1 tub). We work hard to keep everything updated and to provide plenty of amenities so you'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Located in West Maui between Ka'anapali and Kapalua, and just minutes from Lahaina, this is the perfect spot for both/either a relaxing and/or an adventurous trip! There are plenty of beaches, snorkeling, golfing, restaurants, grocery stores, sites to see, and adventures to go on!
Our family has owned the Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf in Maui, HI for 48 years! The condo was purchased in 1973 by Connie's parents, Bob & Shirley Horrell. Over the years it has seen 4 generations of our family along with many more guests. It truly is a special location to our family. We have enjoyed many years of watching children and grandchildren explore the grounds, snorkeling, boogie boarding, catching geckos, playing cribbage, fishing, standing in amazement watching sea turtles, watching whales breach, and learning to swim both under the sun and stars! We have eaten our fair share of banana bread, apple bananas, mahi mahi tacos and burgers, haupia (coconut ice cream), and many other wonderful local foods! We hope that our rental property can provide you with many memories during your stay!

Connie did a wonderful job of making her house feel at home. She had so many wonderful details, from oils to seasonings, to kids toys and books. She also had so many outside hooks to hang up our wet items from our day of adventuring. She also purchased a screen door for the condo(which hardly other units had) which provided a much needed air flow for the condo. Connie was quick to reply, easy to contact and lovely to work with. The condo was absolutely stunning, the view was breathtaking, the pool, fantastic and the turtles we seen made this condo the perfect place to take your family. My kids are already talking about coming back, which i would not be opposed to! Hopefully some day we will.

The Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf was better than advertised. I'll start with the condo: The owner, Carol, was amazing to work with. She reached out to us right after we finalized the rental and was always there with information and help. Not that we needed any help once we got there! The condo is in tip top shape with plenty of room for our family of four. The views from the balcony were amazing.Mahina Surf is a great complex - the grounds are nice, the BBQ's are great, and the pool was nice after a day of exploring the island. We also thought that the location was perfect - felt like we were right in the middle of the West Shore and everything it has to offer.We will be staying here again in the future!

Exceptional experience
Since this condo is located directly on the ocean, we enjoyed listening to the ocean and experiencing beautiful ocean breezes every day. An additional bonus was the turtle beach located right next doorā¦so worth seeing. Connie & Joe, owners of this condo, could not have been more accommodating or responsive. You wonāt find a better host than these 2 individuals. Such a delightful stay.

spectacular view from the lanai!
We loved our stay at turtle condo. We adventured out for fun days of snorkeling at nearby beaches, but also felt very lucky to sit on the lanai in the morning and evening with a pair of binoculars watching turtles and whales. A happy, peaceful place! The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked.

Amazing Views
Wonderful property. Right on the water. It was great to listen to the surf from the condo. We saw whales breaching from the condo and enjoyed daily visits to the shore to watch the sea turtles. The pool is warm and great for the kids. Excellent hosts. We'll definitely return to this property if we come back to Maui.

Nice stay
Lovely stay for a family with two older (ages 11 and 15) boys. My younger liked the pool and my older liked snorkeling near the property. Appreciated having the full kitchen with an oceanfront view!

Wonderful Family Stay
My family lives on another part of the island and we stayed at the Turtle Condo for a long weekend to celebrate my nephewās birthday. The location was beautiful and the condo was comfortable and well appointed. The kids loved the pool and the beaches were great. Saw so many turtles. The grill area was well set up and beautiful for sunset. Enjoyed the beautiful views from the lanai. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Turtle condo
Turtles just off the coast a few steps away from the door and they swim by the rocks seen from the balcony. The condo is clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. The view from the balcony is sweeping and sunset is a great time to enjoy the courtyard for the views. The hosts do a great job of providing information of the area and the arrival/departure process. Thanks for a great stay!

Trilogy Excursions 50th
My sister, niece and myself could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and location. Getting back and forth to Lahaina for the 50th anniversary Luau in honor Trilogy Excursions was a piece of cake. We loved the turtles and the pool, and just everything. If we go back to Maui, this is where we will stay! Thank you!!

Turtles and whales and fish oh my!!
I, my Husband and Son with fiance had a wonderful time in Maui and this condo was great. Plenty of room for the four of us. Had all appliances, dishes, etc we needed. Loved visiting the turtles and watching whales breach all day long. Never gets tiring. Sunsets were awesome along with the outdoor grills and pool. Liked the location on the island. Plenty of hikes, snorkeling and surfing. Thank you.

Amazing Christmas Vacation!
Absolutely loved our stay! From the minute we booked, I knew this was going to be a good experience as Connie was super flexible with our dates and itinerary. She sent over so much helpful info well before our stay so we could prepare accordingly which was especially useful with our three girls (11,9,7). The property is conveniently located with short drives to great beaches and downtown Lahaina. The unit is slightly dated but clean and cozy and what it lacks in modern amenities it more than makes up for with an unreal view. We sat on the lanai and watched whales and turtles every morning and night and had our own private spot to watch the sunset. And speaking of turtles, if youāre a nature lover like my family is, this is the place for you. The little turtle beach in front of the property became our favorite place to check out everyday - we counted up to 30 turtles sleeping out there one night! We would certainly rebook on our next trip and are grateful for the communication before and during our trip, too!

I would give it 6 stars if I could
Loved this property! It was the perfect size for my husband and myself and two young boys. They loved the loft as their own space. The beds were all super comfortable. We were so happy that there were some staples there for us, enough for a week, such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing pods, dishwashing detergent and toiletries in each bathroom. The view was unbelievable from sunrise to sunset. We saw 14 turtles at one time on the little adjacent beach property. The pool was perfect for our family. Everyone around was personable and friendly. The laundry area was coin or app pay which was helpful. Plenty of parking. We were close to many great restaurants and beaches! Connie also had beach chairs and sand toys in the closet for us and we used them everyday. She was also responsive and helpful when I texted her. She worked with us to even add a day on the front of our planned trip. Overall I couldnāt say enough. If I could come back every year I would. Perfect trip and perfect place to stay for our family of four!

Nice Viewā¦but roaches!
Property was not clean and there were roaches in the kitchen. It was so bad that we couldnāt prepare food and had to go out for every meal. Microwave oven did not work and was not replaced during our stay. Curtain from main window was missing, which made the living room very bright and hot in the afternoon sun. Property also needs upgrades. It didnāt appear as though any work had been done there in 30 years.
I would recommend finding another unit in this community to rent because the location and view is great.

Beautiful location
This is such a great location. Close to the activities, shops, and restaurants, but far enough away that it felt somewhat secluded.
We enjoyed a peaceful morning coffee every day on the lanai. Saw turtles every day on the beach. And of course there were gorgeous sunsets every night.
We used the outdoor grills (which we watched the building manager clean for 45 minutes!). He also took great care of the pool area, which was always clean. We even used the laundry facilities once. They could be paid for with a smartphone app, which was super convenient.
We took advantage of the beach supplies provided, although one of the two chairs was broken and the other one was about to break. Not a huge deal considering everything from beach towels to boogie boards were provided.
One of my favorite parts was the walkways behind the units. They're so lush and beautiful. You feel like you're entering a secret paradise portal - activate relaxation mode! :)
We went in July and really did feel the heat and humidity - especially at night. I don't think we would make that choice again. However, the rumor is that a renovation is coming soon with air conditioning. If that is the case this would be the only place we would stay on Maui.

Turtles galore!!!
We had amazing stay watching the sunset every night and the turtles swimming around the rocks feeding all day. The location is nice and quiet and the condo had everything we needed! We can't wait to be back!

First Maui vacation
First of hopefully many trips to Maui. Travelled as family with older kids and worked great! Easy to access and close to so much to do. Enjoyed the turtles on the beach every day. Most we saw at one time was 25 - truly beautiful to be able to watch them.
Communications were great! Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with our family!
