"Lovely accommodation, with friendly staff who were very polite and helpful. The room was very tidy and clean, the only con would be the mattress was slightly uncomfortable with old springs. We overlooked that as the property was perfect for us. "

Although quite a treck around narrow winding lanes to get there...it was definitely worth it. Lovely family-run bed and breakfast...I would highly recommend it. "We found out quite late we have no hot water. We called the staff who said they'll see what can be done and call us right back. They never called. I the morning, when we asked again for the water to be repaired, they tried a few things and said they should be OK in about 10 minutes. We waited 30. Nothing happened, so we gave up. Also, the closet door was missing a screw and the door came apart. "

"This hotel was really easy to get to and only a 15 minute walk to the train station that can take you straight into Cardiff. All the staff were welcoming and lovely and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. "

"Everything about Mill Lodge was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Special breakfast to die for. Great bed, ensuite, walks on the river and quaint town. You will love staying here."

"Quaint hotel in beautiful location near footpaths leading to good walks in the countryside. The room was reasonably comfortable, though a little hot for a Summer day. Our room did not face the valley and so had no special view. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. Good value for money for a pleasant break."

"A well equipped room with an excellent bed, large TV, fridge and good shower. The room was tastefully decorated and of a decent size. I really appreciated the welcome gifts of biscuits, water and milk too. Breakfast was excellent and a very generous portion. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I would also recommend the evening meals and good selection of ales - both of which were high quality. "
