"Talk about a 'Tardis' house! This place has an uninspiring frontage to it. It looks normal, nothing spectacular. However, on arriving at the front door, the quality starts to become obvious. Once inside, here is the most amazing, awe-inspiring, breath-taking home. "The property was great; plenty of parking, plenty of room to move about. The house was large but quaint and had everything we needed. Very quiet and remote but only minutes from town. I LOVED Paul's (owner/manager) attitude about closing out the house - "you are on vacation... you don't need to do anything except collect your things..." "Amazing house in the woods/farms of Grantown on Spey. We really enjoyed our time at this house. It was our base of operations for a week long stay in the Highlands. Laundry includes a tumble dryer which was a major bonus. Kitchen and bedrooms were all spacious and well organized. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed the sounds of sheep in the neighboring pasture. The sitting rooms fire place was absolutely fantastic after days of hiking in the rain. Best place we stayed in Scotland, bar none."
