A beautiful, newly renovated, dog-friendly unit at PierView Oceanfront Condos. Swell Life is ready for you to bring your pup, relax, make memories with family and friends, and enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer!

This two-bedroom, two-bath condo features a well-equipped kitchen, filtered drinking water (no bottled water necessary!), in-unit washer and dryer, cable (in the living area and master bedroom; second bedroom has a DVD player), Wi-Fi, and three flat-screen TVs. Enjoy spending time on the spacious 24' x 6' porch with beautiful views of the sound in the distance and a peek at the ocean.

Sleeping arrangements include a king-sized bed, queen bed, and twin bed. Linens (bath towels, washcloths, sheets) are provided.

The property offers easy beach access, outdoor grills, two outdoor pools (closed in the off-season), and a children's play area.

Please note that there are stairs to climb to get to the unit; however, there is a luggage lift in the building.

Bringing multiple vehicles? No problem! Plenty of free parking is available, with premium spots up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Swell Life is centrally located to many great local attractions, including the beautiful Jennette's Pier, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet. Fine and casual dining, grocery stores, and much more are also close by.

Unit was great - no issues. Very responsive communications from the owner. You can walk right out onto the beach which was nice. Location is in southern Nag's Hed which faciliates getting to the Hatteras National Park and Manteo.

Just what we needed

This condo had everything we needed and was a great location for everything we wanted to do. Thoughtfully laid out, comfortable, and just enough space. Parking, check in, check out, and communication was all easy. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Oceanside Paradise, Great for Family

Our family of 5 stayed here for a 5 day summer vacay and we wish we could have stayed longer. It was so ideal! The location was primo and right on the beach. We woke and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Great premises with two pools and a boat playground which was great for our child. Beach was quiet, private and a nice walk to the nearby pier. Our second floor unit was perfect and had everything we needed. We did bring extra paper towels and essentials which was helpful. Beds were comfy and we loved the kitchen where we cooked often. Property manager was beyond helpful and communicative. Having the luggage shoot was appreciated. Would ideally like to rent on the first floor next time. Amazing trip and would book this place again and recommend! Thanks for everything!

An excellent location and very hospitable hosts! They provided a lot of helpful information about the area and responded promptly and professionally to our questions. We loved having easy beach access and that it positioned us in the middle of the Outer Banks to travel up and down the islands and into Manteo. Some of the property is a bit older, but it was still worthwhile overall.As noted in the description, thereā€™s no elevator (only a luggage lift). This was ok for us but something to note if you may have a trouble climbing the 32 steps.

Outer banks

We had a fabulous time! The beach is mere steps away and there is a laying out area at the top of the middle building. Here you can get the warmth of the rays, listen to the ocean waves and not get any of the sand in or on where you donā€™t want it.

Good Family Location

The property was very clean and quiet and we appreciate having a place welcoming of pets. Communication with the owner was excellent and super helpful. It was our first time traveling with a dog and this fit our needs well. The sidewalk and grassy are were nice for dog walking. We certainly got our exercise using the steps multiple times a day, but it was manageable for us. The kitchen items were a little on the sparse side but we managed. I had read the reviews and had planned to take kitchen items we might need and also brought extra towels. We could have used extra blankets, which we didnā€™t pack. Our only disappointment was the ocean view which is just barely visible from the back patio,if you lean around to look past the corner of the building. The patio still provided a nice outside area for meals and the beach was easily accessible, just behind the unit.

Great location! Nicely appointed unit!

This property is very nicely located near great restaurants (Sam & Omieā€™s!), Jeanetteā€™s Pier, and a short drive to Roanoke Island and Manteo. Also, about a 20 minute drive to Oregon Inlet and the Pea Island Nature Preserve (tundra swans, herons, white pelicans, coots, and tons of ducks). The condo has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces and nice tvs. The only thing we didnā€™t like was the thirty two steps up to the second floor which was a bit problematic with taking the dog out (we are in our 70s). There is a freight elevator which was very helpful getting luggage and groceries in.

Perfect Location

Loved our stay here in Nags Head. It was the perfect location, and the perfect size for our family, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for our long weekend at the beach. The owners were responsive to any communication and provided helpful tips, so that we could make the most of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

This unit was cute, updated, well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The management staff was responsive and friendly. From attentiveness to kindness the property caretakers and property realtor were above and beyond! They really take care of their guests. We had a beautiful stay and got to see tons of dolphins which really made the trip.

Perfect vacation rental

Family of 4 with two dogs rented this condo for a week during the week of July 4th. This condo has everything you need to feel like home away from home and is completely renovated inside. The beach is right out back of the property and has showers to get sand off everything and there are two pools and a playground to enjoyā€”which our children did! There are outdoor grills and picnic chairs on the property and a ton of parking. You can walk to Janetteā€™s pier, shops and restaurants that are close by. The owner and property managers respond within minutes and before your vacation, they send a list of attractions throughout the whole entire outer banks. You can tell both the owner and property manager love this condo complex and want to have memorable vacations for their clients. I wouldnā€™t change a thing about this rental or experienceā€”so much so that we plan on booking again.

Wonderful property. Clean, stocked kitchen. 100 steps to the beach. Out of the hustle and bustle yet 5 to 20 minutes from almost everything. Joe was a wonderful host. Prompt response to messages and great suggestions. Mike and Lisa were wonderful property managers. Would definitely book again.

This was a great place for our short stay. The most important thing to us was the dog friendly atmosphere for a reasonable price, which we found here at swell life. The home was clean. You can see the sound/bay and the ocean from the deck. If you sit in the right spot you can watch the waves roll in and in the other spot watch the sun set and its gorgeous colors over the sound/bay. You can hear the ocean at all times. We always like a oceanfront view and although this wasn't an oceanfront view. You did have a view of both worlds... just had to share the ocean view seat with the others in the house. The walk to the ocean is the same as an oceanfront house would have. The luggage lift was a life saver, especially since im getting older and my knees and back just aren't like they use to be. The beds were comfortable and we had all the linens and towels that we needed. Loved the shower in the main bedroom. I believe my only suggestion would be to put some support under the couch cushions as you sink quit a bit when you sit down in it. Other than that, the couch was very comfortable and had plenty of room for people to sit and be comfortable. I want to thank Joe for sharing his place with us while we remembered my dad on his heavenly 63rd birthday. I would love to return..... maybe longer next time and oceanfront if able.

Overall Excellent

Everything was great. Only improvements I can add would be to give a couple more mini bars of soap, at least two dishwasher detergent tabs, silverware needs to be refreshed low quantity of flatware, leave 1-2 disposable "Handi-Wipe" type of disposable kitchen towels. All this would cost you very little and make the experience much better. Take you five overall.
