Enjoy ocean-side vacationing at an amazing rate when you stay at Maranatha, a South Nags Head Semi-Ocean Front Rental Home that sits one lot from the ocean, offers a private walkway to the beach shared by only 2 other homes, and is only several homes from Fish Heads and the Nags Head Fishing Pier!

This OBX Rental Home features 4 bedrooms, including two ocean-side rooms, with a variety of bedding options to accommodate various family sizes. The open great room allows for large family gatherings, or take things outside on the ocean-facing deck with picnic table. This Nags Head Rental Home also features an open top deck for sun bathing while listening to the sounds of crashing waves.

As for the beach, the walkway to the ocean is privately shared by only two other homes with an access point that is seconds from the door! The beaches of South Nags Head are also relatively much less crowded than the busier areas in Nags Head and KDH. And when hunger strikes, the Fish Heads restaurant on the Nags Head Fishing Pier is only several homes away from this location! Those who love fishing will also enjoy having the Nags Head Fishing Pier so close by, as well as having access to a fish cleaning station at this OBX Rental Home!

Being located in South Nags Head, this Semi-Ocean Front Rental Home is only minutes from sites like the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Oregon Inlet, and 4x4 beaches, while the main part of Nags Head offers a wide variety of restaurants, golf (including miniature golf), an outlet mall, and so much more!

So come relax at 414, "Maranatha", and experience ocean-side vacationing that you and your family will return to year after year!

** To keep rental costs down, this OBX home does not provide linens. However, a linen package can be provided for an extra fee. Please contact Cove Realty of Nags Head for more information on this home's linen rental package. Also, Cove Realty is a Green company that limits excessive waste.  As such, linens, toiletry items, cleaning supplies, and so forth, are not supplied at the rental home, so please be mindful to bring these with you or be ready to purchase upon arrival to the Outer Banks.

Perfect spot!

We had a wonderful time at Maranatha! Location was perfect - only steps to the beach and the Outer Banks Pier was within walking distance. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Exterior had been recently updated with new siding and paint - beautiful. We were able to sleep 9 adults and 1 toddler comfortably. Mattresses were a bit hard but otherwise it's a great property. We are considering booking again for next year!

Overall the house and the location was nice. The beds could definitely use updating, they are all extremely hard and uncomfortable for everyone. We also would have loved to have had a grill on the property. Our main complaint was that we rented the property and unfortunately had to be evacuated due to the storm. We checked in to the property Saturday evening and had a mandatory evacuation Tuesday morning. So we were only able to stay 2 days.. 6 hour drive there and back with several kids (mine being 3 years old and another 9 months old). We paid a lot to rent the property for this week and the property owners were not willing to give a refund for our missed days due to the storm, they were not even willing to refund half of what was paid. This was extremely disappointing. A lot of money wasted, a lot of disappointed children and we spent so much money on the trip that we aren’t able to do any other fun activities since we were not refunded at all. We understand that the storm was out of everyone’s control, however it would have been a common courtesy to refund at least half of the money spent on the trip. That would have been the right thing to do. So while the house the nice, we will not choose to stay here again next year.

Totally worth it!

We loved the location and closeness to the beach. We had everything we needed. We will definitely do this again. We want to look for one that has a pool this time. Maybe even beach front if possible. The house we had was one house behind another house but was still great.

Great location and very clean

Great location, a little away from kitty hawk craziness. The house is super clean with 2 updated showers (no bath tubs). The main room is large and open with high ceilings. The crow's nest has amazing views of the ocean. The only slightly negative experience was that there is no keys available for rear doors or the storm door. Someone in our party locked the storm door from inside when we were leaving and we couldn't get back in. The property company wasn't much help as they did not have a key and did not seem to want to get a locksmith...they said it was the last resort. Well the storm was approaching and after waiting for an hour, we took the matter into our own hands and slid the storm door window down and had a small teenager stick her arm down behind it to unlock from the inside. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

The location was perfect! The home was clean and had all the amenities to enjoy the "beach life"!

Our entire group was pleasantly surprised with this home. The photographs do not accurately reflect the perfection of this home. The size and location are perfect. There are no words to describe the awesome views from the decks. The realty company was more than accommodating. The price is to rent this home is more than fair. We plan to return!!!!! Awesome time in awesome surroundings!!!!!

Our stay was great and the staff was friendly. We decided to leave a little early so we let them know and before we could even get our car and kids packed up they were weed eating around my vehicle not caring we are trying to load up and they were blowing dust everywhere and leaving linens for the other people coming the next day... other than that it was nice.

We loved it!!! The house was fantastic and with the location. Close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Just a word of advise, if your from the Nothern states, please be careful of the sun. I ended up with sun poisoning even with sun screen on every day.
