This charming 1 bedroom, 1 bath oceanfront condo on the 9th floor is conveniently located in the Crescent Beach section of North Myrtle Beach - close to all the wonderful things to see and do in the area!

Carolina Reef unit 904 has a cozy oceanfront living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, color-cable television and DVD player. With a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean just outside the sliding door, relaxing on the sofa with a good book might be how you spend your evenings! This North Myrtle Beach condo rental has an efficiency kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishes, cookware, and utensils for preparing a full meal or a snack. The oceanfront view from the balcony is breathtaking - you can see for miles and miles south! Some have said they saw the Myrtle Beach Skywheel at night!

North Myrtle Beach condo Carolina Reef unit 904 has a queen size bed in the bedroom. This is a non-smoking unit. Pets and motorcycles are not permitted on site. There is a "pay per use" laundry facility located on site for your convenience. Carolina Reef has free on-site parking, free WiFi, elevator, and an oceanfront outdoor pool. A phone is in the unit for local calls. This property does not allow pets. Motorcycle parking is permitted in parking lot across street only.

Would have appreciated a heads up that we were getting a condo that was owned by smokers. Both my husband and I are nonsmokers and the furniture, bedroom and as soon as you walk in the door had a strong cigarette smoke smell. We were not happy about that at all. We will not be coming back to this property. We managed for the weekend since it was a short stay. Everything was clean and nice. Location with the view was great. Next time I will know to request a nonsmoking condo.

Overall this is a great location and the views from the balcony are amazing but the unit is very dated with a musty smell that got into our belongings. I plugged in the dehumidifier in the unit and it helped slightly but the smell never went away completely. The unit is so small the door cannot open all the way due to the placent of the refrigerator. The bedroom has a double or full bed with minmal space on the sides to navigste around it and a window facing out to the entry with louvered blinds that cannot totally block out the lights on all night. The tub/shower had amazing water presuure but drained so slowly you were standing in inches of water aftrr rven the quickest shower. Lastly, the handle for the slider to the balcony was broeken which made the door very hard to open. Would not stay here again, even in another unit but would use Seaside Vacations.

Smoke smell was awful

We liked the location and had good responsiveness from Seaside Vacations for the few issues we had with our bathtub. But the smell in the room should not be considered smoke free. My husband’s allergies were bothering him most of the stay. The person in the room next door definitely smokes because we smelled it coming through the vents. They have an air purifier in the room but it’s not enough. I know there’s not much that can be done in that situation as the property owner, but if you are bothered by smoke I’d book another room in Carolina Reef. My in laws had a great room with no such issues and we loved the location.

Please beware of two significant health and safety issues relating to this property: 1) There is a terrible stale smoke smell throughout the unit that occasionally gets stronger indicating that smoke is coming in from another area. This gave us a terrible dry cough, sore throats, trouble breathing and smelly clothes. 2) One night we were on the balcony and the sliding door randomly locked behind us. Luckily we had a phone and called a friend in town to instruct how to enter the unit and rescue us from the balcony. If we did not have a nearby friend, we would have had to call the fire department. If we did not have a phone we would have had to yell across the sound of the waves hoping someone would hear our plea for help. These are significant issues communicated to the rental company with no response. Advice to future renters - find somewhere else to stay. Advice to homeowners/rental agent - fix these problems or you will be dealing with a much bigger issue regarding the safety of your customers as clean air and a safe balcony are not optional amenities.

The view is absolutely amazing

Smaller condo - but plenty of room for 1-2 adults. The view is better in person, with the large sliding doors. So close to the beach/water. Absolutely fantastic if that's what you're looking for - which I was. The bed is a little hard, and you'll have to completely stock your own groceries - not even salt & pepper on-site - but overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful experience! Over all I’d say it’s a four & a half stars. Needs a few minor updates. The bath tub spout didn’t work only the shower, the sliding glass door handle was loose and coming apart, ceiling has water damaged areas. Little details, but we would definitely return. Location and how easy the company was to work with made our experience amazing!

Beautiful View but condo needs updated

Enjoyed the view, room needs need sofa and the mattress was not comfortable. The condo had an odor like a smoker had either been in the room or lived in the condo. If you are a asthma sufferer, this isn’t a great place to stay.
