Aug Long Weekend

Amazing View. Nice, quiet location great for early morning and evenings walks on and off the beach. Close to many great family activities. There were, however, various maintenance, water damage, and mold issues that were disappointing to concerning. I would rent this unit again, once the maintenance and cleanliness issues have been addressed. Respectfully, Hunter

Spacious and ocean view

Plenty of space in the room. Well maintained property. The view is great, the area is quiet, the short walk to the beach was nice, and the coffee bar in the lobby was a perk. They supplied toiletries and cleaning supplies. It was unclear about what to do, if anything, with the trash and the dirty towels. The beds run a little firm and the master bed was sunk in the middle.

Love this place

Stayed here several times and it is perfect place to stay in the Mrytle Beach area. This time you could tell staff obviously was in a hurry to clean. Sand on floor and dishes were put away dirty. We cleaned up was not a big deal

Spacious Condo

Truly nice place, very spacious, great location. Just needs a few upgrades: oven, patio furniture, shower curtains, bedroom T.V.s outdated no cable only local channels.

Filthy & not maintained

It is my sincere hope that the owner will read this review since Vacasa refused to give me his/her contact information. The condo itself is beautiful, from the flooring to the lighting, artwork, furnishings, wet bar, and high end appliances. Unfortunately, the condo is filthy and not being maintained by the rental company. Upon arrival, my family walked into a disgusting room with grimy floors, unmade beds, cooked food on the counters, laundry in the washing machine, sand and trash everywhere. I immediately called the local Vacasa phone number and 2 cleaners arrived 30 minutes later. I explained to the dispatcher that I had a grocery pickup schedule for 5:00 pm, and was told that it should only take an hour to clean. At 6:30, the cleaners were still there. Keep in mind that I'm driving around wasting time with kids, luggage, and groceries after a long drive! At 7:00 pm, we checked again since no one had called to let us know anything, and the cleaners were gone. We unloaded everything, and finally got settled. I grabbed a pillow from the bed in the master bedroom and immediately saw make-up and what appeared to be drool spots! Needless to say I stripped all of the beds and washed all of the towels immediately. The floors were still disgusting so I had to sweep and mop as well. Vacasa stated that they would refund my cleaning fee, which I am still waiting on 6 days later. There was no hot water in the kitchen and the dishwasher did not work. It had a partially melted dishwasher tab inside. I again alerted the local Vacasa, but specifically stated that I did not want anyone in the condo when we were not there. When we arrived back to the condo, it was clear that someone had indeed been in the condo because the dishwasher was beeping and a flashing red light was on. The dishwasher tab was now floating in standing water left in the dishwasher. The hot water was not fixed. The dishwasher was not fixed! I literally had to fill a pitcher with hot water from the bathroom to take to the kitchen sink to hand wash dishes on my vacation! Very disappointed!! I did not expect this kind of experience with the high price paid.

Great Space

We enjoyed the space and amenities would have liked to see a mop and broom because the floors were not clean prior to our arrival. The space was great the ocean view was also enjoyable. Would book again in the future

Could be better

Not as clean as you would expect during these times, and with what they charge for cleaning and fees. We had to go out and get paper supplies and cleaners. The check-in process was not smooth and no orientation manual about the condo and its amenities/services. Of the places I have stayed, they usually have some info for the TV and WIFI and basics around the condo. Owners should consider getting all the paperwork done a week before arrival, as they were sending things the day of arrival and we were on the road heading there. There was not enough silverware (2 Tablespoons, 2 dinner knives and no forks, no spatula or bottle openers). With a bar you would think they would have something to open bottles. However, the condo had plenty of room and comfort, with a great view of the ocean. Overall the stay was very nice.

Couples getaway!

The property is exactly as listed. The views are absolutely amazing! Beds were comfortable. This place has so much space! Kitchen was a little small, but functional for eating in. Short walk to the beach. Would easily recommend!

Crazy vacation

This was a family gathering that we try each September. Because of hurricane Dorian we had to play musical units. This unit made the week. Perfect ending.

Condo

Condo was beautiful. We have stayed at The Horizon in the past and really enjoyed it. Would have liked a few extra amenities. We did not have any knives (regular cutlery), would have liked pillow cases for four pillows for the King Bed, a few extra towels and garbage bags for the kitchen. Other then that, it was great. Thank you

Beautiful property away from busy touristy area, which was perfect for us. Condo was spacious. Easy access to the beach, nice pool options on the property. We were very pleased with the condo and would recommend it to others. Complaints- I did email Vascasa beforehand about the specifics of what was in the condo and got a general response that probably gets sent to all guests of all their properties. Beds were more firm than we would have liked and the dryer wasn’t working great. Overall, it was a very good rental experience.

Amazing view!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the expansive view was breathtaking that span across the open living/kitchen area. The view continued into the master bedroom as well. The kitchen was well equipped and parking was more than adequate. Short walk to the beach most of the distance can be covered indoors. The pools were clean and all areas kept tidy and neat. I would most definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a private getaway to Myrtle Beach but still close to shopping, restaurants and attractions.

Beach vacation of the beaten path

Great property for a family. Unit had kitchen so we didn’t need to eat out at every meal. Close to beach and restaurants. Pools were very clean and staff is helpful. No services on property, so you need to be selfsuffienct for food and sundrys.

Great location but dirty

We arrived to an awesome condo but the place was dirty. The beds were not made and the sheets were not clean. The living room toilet was clogged. I called to get it fixed but no one came out to fix it. Dirty dishes were in the dishwasher. Other than cleanliness everything was great.
