AT EASE!... a four bedroom waterfront home from Thomas Beach Vacations an easy walk to the beach.

AT EASE! IS WHAT YOU'LL BE in this North Myrtle Beach vacation rental home. Located just two blocks from the beach on a channel of the Cherry Grove Inlet, this home has excellent features inside and out. Relax on the sundeck and watch the snowy egrets hunt and the fiddler crabs scamper.

ENJOY A COOKOUT on the charcoal grill while the kids and pup play in the fully fenced back yard. You'll have the convenience of WIFI and flat-screen LCD TVs in all bedrooms and the living area. On the ground-level are a laundry room and a half-bath (exterior entry only).

THERE ARE ALWAYS PLENTY of fun things to do here at the beach. Swim, surf the waves, fish, or just relax under your beach umbrella. Enjoy a day at Heritage Shores Nature Preserve located nearby at the end of 53rd Avenue here in Cherry Grove. On an island extending into the salt marsh, the park has seven acres with walking paths, picnic shelters, boardwalks, observation decks, a boat dock/ramp and more. Catch a pro baseball game with our hometown Myrtle Beach Pelicans (a Cubs "A" team) and see tomorrow's All-Stars today. Have family fun & thrills at the Grand Strand's amusement and water parks. Don't miss out on any of the fun!

MOTORCYCLES ARE WELCOME in this non-smoking accommodation - DOGS, TOO! (with prior arrangement and a $285 pet fee) Need more room? Reserve both At Ease and its sister cottage, Easy Livin', located just across the street. At Ease sleeps up to ten. Bedding includes: BR1-1 Queen; BR2-1 Queen; BR3-1 Queen; BR4-2 Singles. Leave the dog at home!

At ease is an old and outdated bungalow. I believe the house was clean when we arrived, however when things are old and worn down they appear dirty. Some serious water issues in the kitchen as the walls and the counters are severely warped. Also, there is a serious ant problem in the kitchen. The seal on the dishwasher continuously gets hung up every time you slide out the top shelf. The property manager had a service person show up without letting me know. When I complained they said the contract states they don’t have to tell the tenant. While that may be true it doesn’t make it right. I know others complained about the beds and pillows, that I didn’t have a problem with. The washer and dryer work fine. The outside shower has the best water pressure, but that’s not saying much. There is no means of keeping the outside shower door closed. The wind will blow the door open as I found out the hard way. I left a black Velcro strap to secure the door. The white and yellow dial soap was there when I got there. Even the soap looks dirty! I think someone stopped caring about AtEase a long time ago. Maybe that’s why it’s pet friendly?

Location was great: great restaurants, close to beach & could fish out back. Could use new sofa and bed pillows. Even with the tilted sofa we enjoyed our week!

Dirty house

Property extremely dirty! Broken ceiling fans, mold in bathrooms and under kitchen sinks, mold in ac vents, clogged air filters, twin beds had no sheets, and mattresses very old.

Two short blocks to the beach

This nicely maintained house was convenient to the beach, as well as being only a few short blocks to the Heritage Shores Nature preserve, a good spot both for kayaking and fishing. We enjoyed our stay.

At Ease

There are a lot of upgrades and maintenance that could have made this property a lot better. The location was the best thing about the property. Upon arrival there was dog poop in the back yard and a bag of trash on the ground near the bush in the back corner. The floors had dog hair on them and it was especially bad under the table and beds. The pots, pans, and all other dishes and silverware were filthy so we had to scrub everything before using and some of which was still not usable. The bathrooms were moldy in the bathtubs. the countertops were warped from what looked like a water leak maybe in the roof because there was also a big water spot on the ceiling. The comforters were old smelling not clean and some had blood stains on them. It would have been nice to have a washer/dryer on site for these reasons as well. The beds were very old and flimsy which did not make for good sleep. Overall we made it work since the location was so good however the property definitely needs upgrading and all utensils and cooking items including pot holder should definitely be replaced. We know someone that renovates flooring and counters if interested. Thanks again!

great vacation

Thank you for letting us stay at your house. Cleaning needed attention.... after we cleaned .. overall we enjoyed our vacation the entire week. Great location and neighborhood.

Very kind and Prompt response when the washer went out, had another one by the next day. Great amenities. Extra shower and toilet downstairs was very convenient. Enjoyed the TVs in all the rooms and dock for fishing outback. This is an older house but well stocked. Mattresses were nice. It says new furnishings but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t include the couch. Couch bed was damaged. Overall for location and 4 beds 3 baths you can’t beat the price.
