"We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again."

"Lovely oldy worldy pub accomodation in a lovely setting right next to the river and in a small quaint village. Great Pizzas and breakfast. Very cosy. Rooms quite small but comfy beds. Would return."

Super friendly staff, make you feel very welcome and they’re really helpful! Rooms comfortable and the air con in bedroom was a huge plus! "Lovely bright, clean and airy sort of loft apartment above the owner's large detached garage. Very comfortable, well equipped especially the kitchen area so I could self cater. Beautiful walks starting just up the lane. Highly recommended."

The only poor thing was a very noisy fan somewhere outside my window, so I had to shut the windows on a hot night, the fan did go off, not sure what time, to be fair I do put the light out fairly early."
