"From the moment we turned town the driveway to Wedgetail Down we felt like we were in a movie set. The property is stunning and Betty and Peter thought of every detail and little touch to make us feel welcome. Everything you need to cook and bbq is there, the bed is so comfortable, the rain shower so nice after a long day of hiking. The house is fascinating and absolutely gorgeous. "Tolles ursprüngliches Farmhaus in sehr gutem modernen Zustand mit allem, was man braucht. Die Tiere auf der Farm sind lustig, vor allem, wenn man sie mit dem bereitgestellten Futter füttert. "John was an excellent host and the feeding of kangaroos and iguana was an absolut highlight for us.The house is a little remote (9 km from main street) but it is an incredible experience to be that cöose wirh the animals! We‘ve loved it!"

"Don’t stay here if you’re expecting some shops around the corner. It’s 23 kilometres from the nearest town, but that’s the good thing about it. Out on a sheep station but with fabulous views over Backstairs Passage, a well equipped kitchen to cook in and a great outdoor deck area. An amble through the fields to a couple of completely private beaches. Swallows nesting in the garage. And yes there is a washing machine"

"Nice place to stay. I had a little cottage which was very basic, but it had everything I needed for a 2 day stay. The only annoying thing was that the bed was on wheels so it moves around a lot on the hard floor."
