"The cottage was beautiful. We stayed for a concert and got a cab to Bala. Worked perfect for us for the night. Lots of space. Didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time exploring the property but overall was very happy with it! "

"Excellent location! The cottage feels fresh and new from the moment you walk in. It’s very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. We loved the extra touches like kayaks, canoes, and other amenities that gave us plenty to do. Even though it rained for three days, we still had a wonderful time both relaxing indoors and enjoying the waterfront whenever the weather cleared.The setting is quiet and peaceful, yet just a 20-minute drive...

"Very peaceful and private area! The property looked just like the pictures, possibly even better than in the pictures. Host was very welcoming through virtual communication. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with essentials. We didn’t have kids with us so it wasn’t relevant for our stay, but there was a pretty awesome play area for kids in the basement that’s worth mentioning. "

"We had 3 dry days, 4 wet, the fact that our host (Tom) was quick to respond to any questions we had and a very well equipped cottage with everything you could ask for made our stay very enjoyable despite the weather. You had a great view from the cottage and the location was quiet, we were able to tour parts of the lake which was our main objective We think that our host went above and beyond giving us local information as to shopping and sights to see, wouldn't hesitate to book with Tom again!"

"The property in beautiful, newly renovated and very comfortable. We loved the trampoline and all of the water toys! Kitchen was well-equipped, towels and bedding all new and fresh. A very comfortable stay! The lake is beautiful and excellent for swimming. Virginia was extremely responsive. We had an issue with hot water. She and her husband came down to fix it. She answered all my questions expediently. We will definitely be back!"

"Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. "

"Simple 3 bedroom cottage with everything you need for a quiet getaway. Cozy. Sandy beach entrance for children. Would recommend water shoes to swim. Comfortable distance to Bracebridge or Port Carling for stocking up. "

"Nik was an incredible host for us. Amazing and fast communication and was able to answer any questions we had. We stayed with 8 people, 2 small dogs and 2 infants and it was the perfect getaway.
