"This property should not be rentable. We booked it for a 1-week family vacation based on photos, but it smelled of stale air and mould. Despite being “professionally cleaned,” we had to sweep, clean the BBQ, and scrub the oven ourselves. The furniture was old and musty, the bedrooms had poor DIY fixes, and a kitchen drawer was falling apart. The worst moment was getting trapped inside the cottage while our son was outside — thankfully my husband managed to unlatch the door. Linens provided were...

"Cottage Binx hosted our two families for a cottage getaway. The cottage was nestled in the woods on the Muskoka river and provided great privacy. The cottage itself was very clean and perfectly accommodated our two families. Our host Tej was excellent in answering any questions we had during our stay, always responding within minutes. The cottage has kayaks, and the kids loved fishing on either the paddle boat or the aluminum rowboat. The fire pit area was awesome for a campfire and roasting...
