"An excellent stay in an excellent location, made all the more special by the attentive nature of the staff, where nothing was too much trouble. From sorting out late night taxis, to extending checkout times for one member of our group, nothing seemed to be a problem. Comfy rooms and excellent breakfast, equals we would return in a heartbeat. Only downside of coming in winter or during bad weather is the restaurant and hotel are not all in one building. They are only a few steps apart but enough to get wet. Also not great for elderly due to cobbles floor outside area. But that’s all part of the character of the building.
Will definitely be staying again as we live Abingdon. "
"We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!"
"Superb "Inn Style" accommodation. Above a local pub so access to food really easy. Cosy well kept room with fridge, very comfy bed and clean bathroom.

We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and had Dinner both nights. The Food was really nice and again, service was good.
If I was being picky, it would’ve been nice to have had some complimentary Bottled Water in the Room on arrival.
