2026 Notice: The owners of Seascape have completed the installation of a new 20-foot-by-8-foot swimming pool, 5.5 feet deep, in preparation for the 2026 summer vacation rental season. Photos and the 3D tour have been updated to reflect this new amenity.
Seascape (formerly Tsunami) is an eight-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bath oceanfront beach house located .01 miles north of Garden City Pier. This premier home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances including a microwave and dishwasher, two washers and dryers, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans throughout. Other features include hardwood flooring, ground-level-to-third-floor elevator, bonus second floor sitting area, and oceanfront living area with over-sized windows. Ten flat screen TVs (cable), DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided (beachside Wi-Fi access point - within close proximity). Sleeping accommodations include six king, five double, and a twin-sized sofa bed. There are three master bedrooms. All bedrooms have a private bath, some with jetted garden tubs or tiled walk-in showers. Outdoor amenities include a 20-foot-by-8-foot swimming pool (5.5 feet deep), hot tub, three covered oceanfront porches (furnished), gas grill (patio level), and sundeck with rocking chairs. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.
Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.
Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.
If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach.
Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park.
Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites.
Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.
