We had the absolute pleasure of spending Labor Day weekend at this beautiful mountain-top cabin, and it exceeded all expectations. Though the home has some age, it feels brand-new thanks to the owner’s meticulous attention to detail and spotless cleanliness. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like a true family home—warm, welcoming, and filled with love.The Appalachian décor is tasteful and charming, and every corner is thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was provided aside from food and clothing. Clear instructions and labels made it easy to use appliances and amenities, and the property is fully equipped for comfort and convenience.The views are breathtaking—especially from the upstairs bedroom. We spent hours soaking in the beauty of the mountains and watching countless deer wander through the property, adding a magical touch. While there are other homes nearby, the cabin feels wonderfully private and quiet, offering true peace and tranquility.Our host was attentive and available but never intrusive, striking the perfect balance for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is easy to find, well-lit, and clearly marked, which made arrival stress-free.In short, this is a well-built and lovingly maintained mountain retreat. We left refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning. We only wish we’d had the chance to meet Pop Haven and Kooper!
