"We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. "

"The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week."

"We enjoyed our stay. We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again."

"This rental was probably one of the best I've experienced! Our host was very responsive to any question we had, and helped us immensely with multiple scheduling issues. The cabin was clean and orderly, and was in the perfect location! There were lots of outdoor activities in the area. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!"

"This cozy cabin is incredible!! My dog and I came up for a trail running excursion and I couldn’t sing my praises of this place more. It’s quiet and peaceful, the sauna with a cold plunge in Lake Superior is epic and I was lucky enough to catch the northern lights on a big rock in the lake. There are a ton of amazing hiking trails and a few waterfalls close by, and the restaurant right down the road is great! I would absolutely love to return!"

"This very quaint log cabin is exactly as you see in the pictures. It gets very cold in the fall/winter, so bring extra layers and blankets. The gas fire place can be a bit tricky to get the right temperature. There are plenty of kitchen utensils to use including pots, pans, and dishware. The cabin is located in a convenient location near the lakeshore, a small store, and plenty of trails. The cabin sits in a quiet and secluded neighborhood. Cell service was not great, but there was strong wi-fi."

"place was nice, loved the backyard with privacy fence. they had a nice goodie basket. it was very clean. large shower and lighting was nice & bright. the stair case to the loft was sketchy not really young kid friendly. the place was decent overall. the reason i’m giving 4⭐️ is b/cuz of the extra rules about dogs that were not specified on the listing otherwise we would not have booked here. it was basically discouraged to leave your dog there and if they make noise you weren’t allowed to. we’ve...

"This is a great spot if you want a quiet place. Its not fancy but was the perfect spot for us! Close enough to town and all of the sights, but far away from the busy downtown. Do yourself a favor and visit Buckhorn lounge and restaurant."
