"I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry....

"This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

"Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön obwohl das Wetter leider nicht mitgespielt hat. Die Lage des Hausbootes ist perfekt und Edwin sehr nett. Leider hat unser "Geburtstagskind" ein paar Dinge zu beanstanden gehabt. Es gibt im 2. Schlafzimmer kein Fenster. Es fehlten u.a. ein Fernseher und eine Terrasse. Für 4 Personen ist es definitiv zu klein."

"Mario was the best host; so easy to communicate with and genuinely kind. We appreciate his responsiveness and the laundry service. The apartment is large, comfortable for 6 people (we had 5). There is not a lift and the stairs can be challenging if you are above floor 2. The apartment is well stocked and furnished. Location is great; right in the heart of De Wallen. We would stay here again for sure. "

"Sehr geräumig, Küche hatte fast alles was man braucht! Leider für Spinnenphobiker nicht geeignet! Auf jeden Fall schön ruhig! Gute Lage zu Amsterdam und auch Hoorn, Edam, Volendam usw! Spartanischer kleiner Markt vor Ort, für das Nötigste! Kaffeevollautomat (Bohnen vor Ort kaufen, ist günstiger) Ansonsten sollte man Geschirrtabs, Handseife, Klopapier, Geschirrtücher usw. Einpacken! Waren schöne 10 Tage! Vielleicht kommen wir mal für nen kurztrip vorbei"

"Bon logement avec un rooftop sympa pour le soir. Bien placé, à 5min de la gare et ville très mignonne qu’on a apprécié visiter. Seuls petits bémols ce sont la cuvette des toilettes qui est dévissée et qui bouge beaucoup, et la douche dans laquelle l’eau a du mal à s’évacuer donc ça arrive que ça déborde sur le sol. Mais dans l’ensemble c’est fonctionnel et l’appartement est agréable ! L’hôte, que nous avons rencontré lors de notre arrivée, est amical et n’hésite pas à communiquer lors de...

"Wir waren für vier Nächte bei Laila und John zu Gast und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft standen ein paar Blumen auf dem Tisch und frische Minze und im Kühlschrank waren ein paar Eier. Wir bekamen Ausflugs- und Einkaufstipps und haben uns nach unseren Touren mit dem Auto oder den Fahrrädern über die große Badewanne gefreut. Fußläufig gibt es eine gute Eisdiele, die wir täglich aufgesucht haben."

"Schöne ruhige Unterkunft mit einer für uns als Radfahrer/Läufer tollen Lage. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, so daß man alles mögliche zubereiten kann (Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar). Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt."

"Es war ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub. Wir fahren schon sehr lange nach Callantsoog und haben viele verschiedene Unterkünfte genutzt. Das Apartment hatte alles was erforderlich war und ist von der Lage her kaum zu toppen. Daher sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden es wieder buchen."
