Dumplings Den - Indoor/Outdoor living in town and close to the wineries

A large open plan house located on a quiet street just a short stroll from the centre of Mudgee, Dumplings Den provides luxury accommodation for you, your friends, your kids and your furry friends. Unlike other properties we allow pets inside and don't charge additional fees for them plus we have a fully fenced rear yard.

All the local vineyards are just a short drive away too with wine tours collecting you from the front door.

Containing 3 bedrooms, 2½ bathrooms, 2 living areas, a large covered outdoor dining area and a large fenced yard, Dumplings Den is the ideal place to relax, providing the perfect base enjoy the best that Mudgee offers.

The huge master offers a King bed and benefits from an ensuite with a double shower and separate bath, a walk-in wardrobe and reverse cycle air conditioning. Bed 2 provides a Queen bed with a built in wardrobe and ceiling fan and bed 3 a Double bunk, also with built in wardrobe and ceiling fan.

Beds 2 and 3 share a large bathroom (oversized shower, sink and toilet) across the corridor plus a further extra toilet is situated next to it.

For when there are more than 6 people staying the TV room contains a comfortable double sofa bed ($50 pppn extra)

All linen is provided along with plenty of spares so not need to bring anything but yourselves and your favourite tipple.

The covered deck with fan enables you to enjoy our built in barbie whatever the weather and the outdoor fridge ensures your drinks are readily accessible while you relax. For some quiet time away from the rest of the family there is also a second smaller side deck with a table and chairs.

The outdoor fire pit is perfect for the cooler nights and indoor wood burner great for the winter nights. There is plenty of wood always available and cushions to keep you comfortable.

The three reverse cycle air conditioning units ensure a comfortable stay whatever the weather. In winter we also have electric blankets, hot water bottles and extra blankets available.

The large fenced flat grassy yard provides space for your dogs and kids to run around or play games whilst you relax on the deck. We have a selection of outdoor games including a giant Jenga set for your enjoyment, or at night relax on the grass and enjoy the stars.

Dogs of any size are allowed inside so bring all the family. Treats and water bowls are provided along with toys to keep your dog amused. Just bring their favourite food and their beds and you are ready to go.

Wi-fi, the large smart TV with Netflix plus a Blueray/DVD player and the bluetooth speaker will keep everyone entertained. For those that prefer more traditional entertainment a selection of board games, jigsaws and books are also available.

A selection of tea's, coffee (filter, pod & instant), cereals, bread and milk are included in the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to maximise your relaxation time. A wide range of pantry items are also available for guests to use and we have a herb garden which you are encouraged to make use of.

Ample off street parking to the front and side of the house. On street parking also plentiful.

Guests should note a creek runs down the side of the property which can become fast running during our very occasional periods of heavy rain. This area is fenced.

We absolutely love staying here! This is our second visit, and it never disappoints. The fresh herb garden and beautiful undercover BBQ area provide everything you need for a great stay.Hosts Anne and Al add thoughtful touches in the fridge and pantry, and the house is beautifully presented and impeccably clean. Everything functions perfectly, and we particularly enjoyed the three air conditioners throughout the house. One of my favorite features was the clever side tables hidden in the lounge chair arms in the TV room, which we used for our coffees by simply placing a placemat from the lovely wooden dining table on top. The same lounge can also turn into a bed as it has a slide out under it. The property is also ideal for pets, with tiles in the main living areas and carpet in the bedrooms, making it easy for furry friends. The spacious backyard comes equipped with all the essentials for your pups, including bowls, toys, and even a dog towel. They have even chopped wood available for use in the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, which makes me think we should visit in winter!We highly recommend staying here and are already looking forward to our return next year!Thank you, Michelle

We had a very relaxing stay at Dumplings Den. Importantly our 2 dogs were safe in the yard & knowing they were welcome inside made us all very comfortable. The location into town is easily walkable & the neighbourhood is quiet. Everything was great.

Staying at the Dumplings Den was just so easy! Honestly I don't think you could find a more perfect location, easy walk to town, easy walk to the dog park! So refreshing to arrive at a property with essentials and more in the pantry, there was fresh milk, fresh bread and juice along with cereal and a wonderful veggie garden. Our dog was welcomed with plenty of bowls, treats, toys and there is even a portable bath! The house is open plan and roomy we had a party of 6 and there was always somewhere to sit and chat or play games. Will defiantly book to stay again! Thank you Anne & Al

We loved every thing about the home! Plenty of space, so clean & tidy! The fireplaces were great in these cold months. Comfy clean beds, master bedroom, extremely nice! Quick walk to town to enjoy Mudgee town, food, wine & local music!!! Definitely recommend you stay here! šŸ˜„

Location is perfect. Easy walk into town, to markets & parks. Fire pit was awesome, and inside fire place made it really cozy. Extras like some breakfast stuff provided and basic pantry items were appreciated. Dogs enjoyed the backyard and it was easy enough to keep them out of the bedrooms. We had a great long weekend.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 dogs had the most wonderful time at Dumplings Den. It is spacious and so well appointed and our dogs loved the back yard and deck. All the little dog friendly touches were just lovely and we felt very welcome. Can't wait to come back in autumn. Christine Miller

We found Dumpling's Den to be very well located, very spacious and very comfortable. It was ideal for our group as we had 4 adults requiring 3 separately bedrooms. The 2 full bathrooms, plus additional toilet, were fantastic. We loved all the little extras provided (like bread, milk, juice and cereals) and the host, Anne, was super responsive to any questions. Although none of us have a dog, we love the fact that the property allows dogs and we will be recommending it to friends and family.

The place is very clean and also practical for dogs. A 10 minute walk to the CBD, markets, cafes etc. Great beds, modern bathrooms, coffee machine, BBQ, fire pit & nice couches. The pantry was very well supplied, especially for people wanting a quick breakfast before heading out. Our dogs loved the backyard and bbq deck where we enjoyed our dinner and had fun with the fire pit. Everyone really enjoyed their trip to Mudgee.

Well set up property in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Main Street. Courthouse Pub around the corner does great meals, dog friendly on the deck. Really enjoyed our return visit.
