47 Perry has been styled with warmth and comfort. Enjoy the ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, soft luxurious towels and warm cosy beds fitted with bamboo sheets and electric blankets in the colder months.

Share stories, enjoy a drink and a barbeque in the private outdoor courtyard or relax on the front verandah and watch the world go by.

Get comfortable on the lounge and enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace. Play an entertaining board games, connect to the free wifi, read a book or watch the telly.

The kitchen is complete with a coffee machine and all the essentials should you wish to dine in. The kitchen is stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the fridge. You will also find some complimentary treats to enjoy with your cuppa.

The bathroom has all the essentials including soap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, a hair dryer and toilet paper.

Should you wish to do some laundry, the cottage is equipped with a washing machine (including liquid capsules), dryer, iron and ironing board.

Parking is available at the rear of the cottage and on the street.

I have stayed in many properties in Australia and overseas. None compare with 47 Perry Street. Margaret is a most generous and thoughtful host. The property is exceptionally comfortable and well located. Every comfort you could look for is there. I cannot recommend it sufficiently highly.

Lovely cottage, in a great location (walking distance to all the cafes, pubs and restaurants). Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen. One tiny downside There is a little road noise but nothing a pair of ear plugs couldn’t manage. We had a great stay and would definitely rebook next time.

The old cottage seems to have been renovated extensively in recent years to make it more comfortable for paying guests. Unfortunately, there were no outside lights functioning (backyard or front porch) due to a lack of home maintenance, making entry to the accommodation in the dark (from early evening late May) difficult. This was communicated to the owner, Margaret who seemed very surprised! Aircon fan probably needs a check-up too since the fan on low seems too 'windy'. Note: Guests bring all your own food, or eat out since only tea, coffee and UHT milk is provided (no welcome breakfast basket). Unfortunately, I had to take a trip to Woolworths to buy washing up gloves and kitchen scourers, as none were provided. Overall, yes I would recommend this property once maintenance has been completed to fix important security lighting. On the upside the two beds were comfortable, warm (electric blankets) and bathroom shower great water pressure, temperature easy to control. Also, spacious outside parking area at the rear of the cottage was welcome!

We came for the Mudgee classic bike ride and this place was perfect. Central to everything in town and the ride. We were originally going to bring our dogs but for anyone considering it this yard was one of the few places I have ever stayed at where the yard was secure enough for dogs to not get out.

Everything was perfect. We appreciated the small touches, such as the treats and other food items. It was a lovely, well-appointed home, all you could want in accommodation in Mudgee and Margaret was a most helpful, warm and friendly host.

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Was perfect for my parents and I. Within walking distance to Woolworths and the main street. Would highly recommend. Communication with manager was excellent. Whilst it didn't really say on the description, the cottage had deducted heating/air conditioning. Also had a gas hater, and electric blankets.

Excellent location in easy walking distance to shops restaurants, bars. Clean and neat, very comfortable beds and we loved the fireplace. Would have been nice to have the option of 2 single beds in one of the rooms instead of the double. Loved having 2 separate lock boxes with 2 sets of keys.

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage and appreciated the central heating on as it was a cold spell. We had to ask for more blankets/bedding and found it rather dark in the living areas. Being able to walk into the centre of Mudgee with easy access to supermarkets was a bonus.
