Our beautiful, modern vacation apartment (approx. 80 m²) is in a quiet location and features a balcony and four light-filled rooms (at night and in the summer, heat-reflective skylight blinds allow you to darken or cool the rooms). The bedroom is furnished with a 140-cm-wide double bed (Emma One mattress). The vacation rental features a separate dining room with a solid-wood dining table that seats four people. The dining room also includes a well-stocked bar for cozy evenings. A large TV, combined with the cozy round sofa, offers the perfect setting to wind down in the evenings. To relax or perhaps read a book in comfort, you can retreat to a large, comfortable beanbag chair. A large, free parking lot with over 21 spaces is located right next to the vacation rental. Our guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchen featuring a two-person bistro table, a dishwasher, and a modern side-by-side refrigerator. The modern bathroom, equipped with a shower and toilet, is flooded with light and sunshine through an electrically operated skylight. On the balcony, you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast or cozy evenings in the shade of a beautiful walnut tree, surrounded by wonderful tranquility. The vacation rental has only been available for rent since May 2026 and is completely newly furnished! As the name suggests, the apartment is located in the attic of an apartment building; you’ll need to climb 1.5 flights of stairs to enjoy the fantastic view over the rooftops of Mücheln. Lake Geiseltal is a residual lake formed by open-pit mining in southern Saxony-Anhalt. The lake was created by flooding as part of reclamation efforts in the former Geiseltal lignite mining area northeast of Mücheln. With an area of 18.4 km² and a shoreline of 41 km, it is the second-largest artificial lake in Germany, ranks among the ten lakes with the highest water volume in Germany, and is the largest body of water in the Central German Lake District. The crystal-clear Geiseltalsee is surprisingly versatile: It features a great sandy beach, an official dog beach, boat rentals, a diving center, a maze, a vineyard with a wine bar, two harbors with restaurants and bars, and more. In just about 20–30 minutes by car, you can reach numerous attractions, such as the site where the Nebra Sky Disk was discovered, the Filmburg in Querfurt, the adventure animal park in Memleben, the castle in Merseburg, and the Pfännerhall with its mammoth in Braunsbedra.
