"Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone.
This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). "オーナーのGlenさんが親切でした。迷わないよう入り口の写真を送ってくれたり、メッセージを送ってくれました。
こちらでの滞在は私にとっては新鮮でした。
ソーラーによる電気、飲料水と雨水との使い分け。雨水のシャワーだけど、ちゃんと熱いお湯も出ました！トイレ、シャワーは部屋の中ではなく戸外でした。
キッチンはラナイにありました。
必要なものはちゃんと揃ってました。
自給自足に近い滞在の経験はなかなかできないので驚きもありました。
夜になるとコキガエルの大合唱。
トイレやシャワーでコキガエルに会いました。
真夜中にソーラー充電が切れたようで、完全に闇に！漆黒の夜って、こうなんだとあらためて認識。
なかなか出来ない経験ができて面白かったです。"

"The Lehua Lodge is the best place I have ever stayed on the Big Island!! Linda is a phenomenal host, very available and highly responsive!! The lanai on this property is amazing!!
