We were in town for a basketball tournament. The location was perfect. The loft is cute, clean and quiet. We definitely will come back.

Can't say enough great things about our stay at this property. The host was super friendly and welcoming, and the house was just lovely. Everything was new and clean, and we had the whole place to ourselves so it was really nice to just relax and unwind. The house is in the country so it's very quiet and peaceful, a short drive from town, and very picturesque. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely stay there again next time we're in town!

The Loft is very spacious and fully equipped. It is a great place to stay for a quiet weekend or college visit. The surrounding farmland is very beautiful.

Comfortable country stay
We were in the area for a week long super busy sporting event nearby. We enjoyed the fact that once we came back to relax at The Loft it was super quiet, but had all the amenities that we needed. We were just a few minutes from town and our event, which allowed us to come and go as we pleased. It was the perfect place for what we needed. John was very helpful and was available to answer all my questions. We plan to comeback if we are in the area again.

Weekend Stay
What a wonderful loft! Cozy, super clean, and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen with everything you need to provide for yourself/family. John was very easy to communicate with, and directions to the loft were spot on. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!!

Exactly what we needed for our girls getaway. Great location to get to Mount Vernon, Columbus and Mansfield. If we ever head back that way we would be sure to stay here again.

The Loft by Granny's Creek
Very clean with refreshing decor, comfortable furnishings, and cozy accommodations. We enjoyed watching tv, preparing our own food, and day trips out and about to neighboring towns: Mt. Vernon, Marion, and Millersburg. We returned each evening to recuperate from our excursions in the quiet safety and security of the Loft. We had a delightfully satisfying stay!

Affordable, peaceful, quiet & cozy
We really enjoyed staying at the Loft. It was incredibly clean, modern & had all the amenities you needed. The owner was very nice & gave us suggestions on things to do in the area. It is conveniently located close to town, but tucked away in the woods. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Perfect Spot For Relaxed Getaway
Our stay at The Loft was exactly what we hoped: a quiet country setting close to Mount Vernon and Columbus. John is an excellent host and his property is perfect for 2 or 3 people. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing stay away from the city.

Excellent. Would stay again.
This property is excellent. We had a perfect stay, finding everything even better than described. The unit was well stocked with basic items you might need, it was impeccably clean, and it was more spacious than we expected. We were in town for a wedding, and we were thrilled when we discovered that this rental was VERY close to the venue, the Beverly Mansion in Marengo (maybe a 3-minute drive).

A lovely loft near Kenyon college
A lovely loft near Kenyon college My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the loft well I attended my 25th reunion at Keyon. It was a lovely respite while still being quite close to gambier. It was a hot weekend and we really appreciated the water bottles that our host left in the fridge for us.

Lovely Country Location, Yet Minutes From Town
The Loft was perfect! Beautiful, clean, great location for a relaxing getaway, yet only about 10-15 minutes from Mt Vernon and the bike trail. The host was very friendly, quick to respond and has put a lot of thought into stocking the unit with the comforts of home. We would definitely stay here again!

Serene and spacious for Kenyon visit
This is the first place I’ll try to book for the rest of my Kenyon visits. Newly built, well laid-out, thoughtfully stocked for cooking and laundry. Decor is fresh, cheerful and modern. Living space is well separated from bedrooms. Drive from Mt. Vernon is a straight shot out of downtown on a major road. Deep rural quiet (you can see the neighbor’s cows down the road) but all the conveniences of town nearby. Host John could not have been more gracious. Easy to reach and very responsive. (Wi-fi needed to be reset once in a five-day stay and he had it done in a minute). He’ll throw in a tour of his wood shop if you’re a fan of great tools. Looking forward to our next stay.

An unfortunate circumstance brought my partner and I to My Vernon and even though the event was sad, the accomodations in this property we're perfect. We will using in the future for all our trips to Ohio
