"Quite rustic but comfortable and roomy for two. A little chilly until we got comfortable with the wood burning stove. Would have been great if the shower head worked."

"Very unique experience, more furnishings than we expected. There are incredible books, challenging puzzles and various games. Nice selection of music…both records and CDs. The location is near railroad tracks which might concern some guests, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall."

"My husband and I stayed here two nights and we just loved it. The best compliment I could give was that my husband - who finds fault with everything - said, to quote, “I like everything about this place. There is nothing I don’t like.”It was adorable, comfortable, clean, welcoming, and really just lacked for nothing. The hosts were so friendly and anticipated all our needs, with terrific attention to all the little details. The location is within walking distance to so many cute stores and great...

"It was spacious, but we were overall dissatisfied with the quality of the cabin (a refurbished single wide trailer) that we were assigned. The front door was flimsy and didn’t close property. We had to pull and jiggle.. needless to say we didn’t feel that safe. The place was clean on the surface, but the windows had caked on dirt that was pretty gross."

"A very nice collection of cabins and trailers conveniently located in Dunsmuir. Well shaded next to the river.
Easy short drive into the historic town of Dunsmuir.
If you like trains, the big ones change crew in Dunsmuir and you can watch them start up the hill."

"Great spot. Host was responsive and helpful. Just heads up- the entrance in back (with same door code) has the parking spot- to avoid the flights of stairs in front . Also, heat is a split in the living room- worked for my Fall stay."

"Such a beautiful and well thought out home away from home. We stayed for several days as we explored around the Mount Shasta area. Dunsmuir is such a quaint little town and this home was the perfect landing spot after a long day of outdoor adventures. Thank you for everything!"

"Micheal went above and beyond. We were visiting Shasta to attend a retreat. One of the people from the retreat left their purse in our car. They got a hold of Micheal through VRBO to get a hold of us. Micheal was kind enough to text us a message and then checked in making sure we got. Our friend was so thankful and so we were. He is truly kind and we had the extra bonus of meeting his sweet dog Clyde. It was a wonderful experience and I truly would recommend this place. It is peaceful, quiet,...

"The house had a lot of charm and character. My husband and I and our two adult children felt so at home and comfortable. The house was walking distance to everything downtown. There were some hot days where we felt happy to just stay at home and enjoy the ambience. The host Rick checked in to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Staying there enhanced our trip. Thank you"

"The house is close to some of the restaurants and shops in town. In addition to many parks. It was comfortable and had a small fenced yard. Smart tv was good. Could use a refresh on the non stick pans. The mini split heating/ cooling system was so difficult to use despite the directions. We needed her to turn on the heat as it was very cold the day we came in. We tried using the system to then cool it a day later and couldn’t get it to cool so we left it on what she set it as. The view of Mt...

"We had a great one-night stay with our large group (including our dog and 4 kids). The home was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated everyone without any issues. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The only minor hiccup was that the induction cooktop didn't work well for us as it started creating smoke when we tried to use it. Worth noting for future guests who plan to cook during their stay.Check-in is done through the motel reception, which was straightforward. Overall, no...
