"Good budget motel"

"The upgraded cabin was so peaceful and the deep hot bath on the verandah was an incredible experience listening to the wind in the trees and the boobook owl. The care for country walk the next day led us deeper into the rainforest and the tranquillity of the place. The compost toilet was very effective and the be extremely comfy. Everything worked and we had nature visible in every direction through the windows and does and on the deck. Fabulous"

"Excellent accommodation in great location on the Derwent river. "

"Very spacious room which was beautifully presented and had everything we needed "

"Loved this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The host Joanne was very friendly and helpful."

"We enjoyed our brief 1 night stay. The cottage was very spacious and had all the essentials including a washer/dryer which is great when you’re on a long road trip. We had a nice meal at the eatery. Highly recommend"

"Good shower and clean"

"Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park."

"Spacious setting alongside the river. Convenient restaurant providing good food. Good size clean rooms."

"Great spot!"

"excellent"

"Had the most amazing stay, perfect place with a toddler, so much space for the little one to run around and having an extra room was so useful. Staff were wonderful and accommodated extra requests to make our little one more comfortable. We will definitely be back!"

"Charming place right in the middle of town. Very quiet at night. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Bed comfy with quality linen. Staff lovely and very helpful. Great breakfast downstairs in the cafe below."

"I was given the wrong room"

"Our stay was amazing in every way. The accommodations, food, entertainment, and everyone was exceptionally helpful and nice!"

"Our stay at this accommodation was exceptionally wonderful. The property itself was absolutely beautiful—timeless, elegant, and truly a special place to relax and unwind. Every detail contributed to a memorable experience, and we had such a great stay from beginning to end. A special mention must go to Philip, who was simply amazing. He attended to all of our needs with genuine warmth and care, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. In the evening, he made us drinks and desserts...
