"Our family of 4 grandma enjoyed this well-appointed, well-stocked home. We cooked a couple of meals with ease. The house is situated on a busy road, but a large buck and porcupine greeted us one night! We followed the fireplace directions assiduously but unsuccessfully. There is a smaller rental in the backyard, but we were not disturbed by that fact. It’s a short drive to magnificent Acadia. "

"We stayed here for a family vacation to enjoy the fall colors and explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect—an easy drive to both, which made getting around simple and stress-free.The home has a peaceful backyard set away from the road, which made it a nice spot to relax. You might hear some traffic at night if the windows are open, but it didn’t affect our overall comfort.Communication with the owners was excellent—very prompt and helpful. "We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! The location was very convenient for all of our activities and served and a perfect base to explore all the area has to offer. We loved the full kitchen so we could cook instead of going out each night. We would certainly stay again if we travel back to the area. "

"Property was just as described and the location was perfectly located on beautiful Long Pond with beautiful views and was a short drive to all attractions. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities you'd need to enjoy your getaway. We enjoyed the hot tub, canoe and grill most! We even got to see a bald eagle fly over the pond and land in a close by tree while we were out in the canoe. Would highly recommend!"
