"Lovely and large room with king bed and a fire place. Ensuite was also large. They also put hot water bottles in our bed at turn down - such a lovely gesture. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Food good and fresh too. We also saw a Golden Monkey there too. Nb. Worth noting that the laundry service doesn’t include ironing/pressing."

"I booked a small single room which was perrfectly adequate for my needs. The wifi was challenging, but the reception worked on it and got it to work for me. Very friendly and helpful staff, the food was good, and they were open to fix us something not on the menu. Its located off the main road outside of the town center, but is still a walkable distance from the business centers.

"The Faraja Hotel is a great place to stay! Although there was an issue upon check-in when they were unable to find my pre-paid reservation for 6 nights, once they located it, everything was fine. The staff is AMAZING! They went out of their way every moment of every day in order to ensure that my stay was the best that it could be. "Beautiful hotel well located for hikes in the area. We stayed in the large cottage which is a very nice spacious option for families. Staff was very kind and accommodating (always went the extra mile) and as others have noted the food was really excellent. Light and healthy and tasted very fresh—the best food we had in Rwanda. "

"I don’t even know where to begin to describe how amazing my experience at Sambora was. The service was unlike anything I’ve ever seen: so much care, attention to detail, and a truly personal touch. Every single staff member was kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room and facilities were perfect, and they handled every detail of our gorilla trek, making sure we felt completely prepared. When my partner got sick, they went above and beyond to take care of him, and I’ll never forget that. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but I’ve never felt so genuinely cared for.
