"The place was amazing and exactly as described. Chris met me upon arriving and showed around the house, gave ideas on trails and things to do. He even had a dog crate there and a fully fenced kennel outside. Books, sucked kitchen, bathroom, and the views were simply amazing from every room. The craftmanship of the home is outstanding and my understanding is he built the home and all the furniture himself. Outstanding. Would rent again for another getaway."

"This property was a perfect home base for our family's trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Communication prior to arrival could have been better. I messaged the property owner via the VRBO app the day before check-in and then texted the morning of our arrival because I hadn't received any check-in instructions. There is a jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom, this is NOT the same as a hot tub. It is right on highway 160 so there is traffic noise. "It was a pleasant little cozy place. Peaceful and quiet. Host was available if needed. There is plenty to do fairly near by if are looking for some unique experiences. One thing, kitchen sink stopper needs replaced. But found another way to do the small amount of dishes that we dirtied. Overall was very pleased with the experience.
