"We wanted to explore a new town on the way to our final destination. We found this delightful downtown spot rich with history. We also loved the attention to detail and added amenities. "We stayed in the tree house because of it's location on the Elk County Trail of Dreams. As soon as we parked we were welcomed with the sounds of a nearby stream. The kids enjoyed exploring nature and being secluded. We even learned to enjoy swaying back and forth through a brief thunderstorm. It is a legitimate tree house. With all the natural charm it's easy to forget your only 30 seconds away from the Elk Life Store. There was planting of SxS/ATV traffic going by, but that's why we were there....

"The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. We appreciated all the breakfast food that was left for us. The pool and the hottub were fantastic. There is road noise from a nearby highway but we ignored it and really enjoyed our time on the property. We hiked, rode bikes and fished. We will be back. "

"This property definitely lived up to the VRBO description! Due to skyrocketing rates & plummeting service at the PSU boutique hotel where we normally stay, we decided to give VRBO a try. We were NOT disappointed and loved the PSU-themed apartment! Bellefonte is a lovely community and just 12 miles from PSU. The apartment was clean, appealingly furnished, and included a fascinating array of PSU memorabilia.The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Plenty of towels and face cloths, and the beds...
