The lovely conservatory, with its seating area and countryside views, is an ideal place in which to wind down after a busy day out. There is a 90 square metre fully enclosed area in the garden for dogs. The cottage is in a great location to explore the many visitor attractions in Northumberland. Alnwick Castle is only 14½ miles away and featured in the Harry Potter films, so will delight children and adults alike. Rothbury is only 8½ miles away with a good selection of pubs and cafés, and pretty riverside. The National Trust’s property, Cragside, should not be missed while you’re visiting Rothbury. The coast is only 14½ miles at Druridge Bay and Otterburn is 22 miles where you can travel into the acclaimed Dark Sky National Park, and perhaps include a visit to Kielder as well. The small village of Longhorsely has a village shop and pub and is only 2¼ miles away. The pretty and historic town of Morpeth is only 9 miles with plenty of pubs and shops as well as a swimming pool and riverside rowing boats. Beach 13 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2¼ miles.
