Alnwick Castle, famous for ’Harry Potter’s Hogwarts’ and ’Braveheart’, and the Duchess’ enchanting gardens is just 6 miles. Boat trips to Coquet Island to view the bird sanctuaries from Amble is only 2 miles. Alnmouth, with its Ballamory style houses, beautiful beach and silver sands is only 3 miles.
