"Let me,start by saying all the staff were absilutely brilliant and friendly. Hitel gowever seems to be in a state or ill repair. Paint falling off walls and ceilings. Curtainscthat didn't close fully. Heating was never on and very cold in am. Carpets filthy. Door to my room was in very bad state. Just think whoever owns this needs to get his finger out and invest in the property and staff. Not good."

"Overall, the stay was nice and the property was comfortable. However, the accommodation was quite cold , the heating wasn’t on. There was also no hot water, which was inconvenient. Aside from these issues, we had a pleasant stay."

"Everything was perfect. Lovely room which was immaculately clean and well presented. Stephen and Neil were perfect hosts and clearly work really hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. Great location for everything in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!"

"Described as a bed and breakfast without the breakfast.
Very confusing accommodation with bathroom and toilet access or down the hall.
Greeting was interesting but beds were okay for sleeping and mainly quiet.
Pictures don't represent the rooms and expectations from advertising not met.
Would not stay again even for one night."

"Staying here was amazing. The room was just what I needed for my one night stay in Durham. The bus stop wasn’t far away and was very easy to get into the city center. I arrived a little bit early and they didn’t even flinch to get me into my room. Highly recommend!"
