Expect what you'd expect if you're only paying $60
The room we were first provided they had evicted the prior tenant. They tried to enter the room while we were in there. The furniture is run down. The floor is tile and it was damaged. The shower had an opening in the ceiling. There was a bottle of oil sitting on the desk, with no cap. They moved us to another room. That room was missing furniture and had no shower curtain. The bed had a thin bed spread. It was cold. The heat worked. The furniture was also dated, chipped and the floor had the same issue. There are no sprinklers in the room. The door was hard to close. i was concerned about safety. It was a clean room. No issues with parking. The front desk person was very apologetic for what we experienced. She said she was going to see what they could do to compensate us. We only paid $60/night. We got what you'd expect for $60/night. She said she'd call us to let us know what the manager agreed to if anything. Never heard from them. I won't be staying here again. Again, you get what you pay for I don't feel it was even worth the $60/night we paid.

Not secure
I made a reservation for OYO hotel however that no longer exists and I was moved to hotel M. The door to room did not close properly. The bathroom door did not shut. The toilet did not flush. There is a weird cleaner smell. There were no garbage cans. I attempted to contact front desk. No one was in office. I called and no answer. When I left I explained about the door not closing and was told “sorry that happened to you” will never stay here. Will not use hotels.com again.

WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE PLACE, IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS AN ABANDONED BUILDING WITH ONE OTHER CAR IN THE LOT. THE WOMAN AT THE DESK, RAN MY CREDIT CARD SEPARATELY FOR THE COST OF THE ROOM AND THEN FOR THE SECURITY DEPOSIT, WHICH CAUSED A FRAUD ALERT ON MY CARD. THANKFULLY, I HAD ANOTHER CARD TO USE. IT TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO CHECK IN. ONCE WE GOT TO OUR ROOM, IT SMELLED SO STRONGLY OF DISINFECTANT THAT YOU COULD NOT BREATHE IN WITHOUT COUGHING. WE WENT TO GET ICE IN THE DISGUSTING ICE/VENDING AREA., THE ICE SCOOP WAS ATTACHED TO THE WALL AND COVERED IN DIRT. THE SURROUNDING AREA WAS FILTHY! THERE WAS NO GARBAGE CAN IN THE ROOM. THERE WAS A GARBAGE BAG INSIDE OF THE TOILET. THE TOWELS WERE FILTHY AND HAD PUBIC HAIR ON THEM. THE COMFORTERS WERE VERY STAINED, WHICH WAS DISGUSTING.

Room we booked was unavailable. Room smelled like smoke, door barely worked. VERY noisy all night long, room wasn’t fully cleaned. Very disappointed.

This is my second time staying here, so pretty much to sum it up, if you are looking for a convenient place to stay to watch a WVU game, the Football field is right up the road, and it's right next to the Basketball stadium. The price is great for what other motels in the area charge on game weekends. However, remember you get what you pay for, it's not 4 start motel, so it really depends what you want? Pay triple and get a modern room or get a room that puts a roof over your head and a warm shower and enjoy why you are actually there? PS I would probably bring your own pillow and towels though HaHa, Overall I like it and will stay there the next time!

Hotel is rundown
This hotel is rundown. It is in desperate need of repair. From reading the other reviews, it was what I expected. The location is great as it is walking distance to the WVU Coliseum. I will say that the mattress and pillows were comfortable, however, the room smelled of smoke, the chair was broken with only one arm, the tv was fuzzy & the remote didn't work. There were a lot of scuff marks on the walls and doors and it looked like the curtains were new but didn't match and were see-through. There are 4 buildings but only 2 are in use and there were 3 broken down vehicles in the parking lot that look like they are permanently there. I don't think I will stay here again and if my husband hadn't been with me, I doubt I would have stayed by myself. This hotel was cheap, so don't expect a lot for your money.

The hotel was cute and in an easy area to access. The main office was slightly confusing to find, as it appears to have originally been in a different location/building. Staff was friendly and helpful. We only had some minor concerns with just how the bathroom was laid out. There was a small step up into the the bathroom which we tripped over several times. The shower curtain rod was also loose, so the bar leaned down causing almost no coverage (I actually got my own tools and tried to tighten it myself which worked long enough for our stay). There were also no trash bins in the room itself.

Ive stay in alot of motels and this is the only place i have walked in a room and walked back out of. This place is dirty outdated and unsafe.they have people living in it which is unusual for a motel but they have old junk cars in the parking lot and trash every where around the building. The room had liquor bottle in the night stand from the previous tenants and if we stayed long enough probably bed bugs. Then on top of it all refused to refund our money back for this disaster of an establishment.

Pleasant stay, bed was comfortable. Older hotel, and could use some major updates and repairs. Staff was friendly. $100.00 Deposit refund was fast (day after checkout). Overall, quiet and comfortable stay.

Trying but not quite there
This is one of those run down properties that someone is trying to refurbish into something nicer. They've taken out the old stinky carpet, put in laminate floors, gave it this trendy green paint to make it look nicer. However it's still not great. If all you need is a place to sleep and shower then the price might be just right. My room was the cheapest with the twin bed... Didn't know that actually existed anymore. The bed was well ... Better than sleeping on the floor i guess. The floors had this sticky feel to them. And the room, despite not have any carpet, still had that funky odour. The door locks were still the old ones and mine got stuck sometimes but i made it work. I think if i was trying to keep my cost low i would rather go with the motel 6 across the street.

Not Good Facility
The room was dirty. Bathroom floor filthy - tried to do some cleaning with sanitizing wipes we had. Dirt/grime came up on feet/shower shoes all the time. Killed bugs several times on pillows. Clerk said “overflow” rooms not used often, with “spit shine” prep done last minute. No daily service or trash removal. If need towel next day, must walk used one to check-in building to exchange (for flimsy small replacement). Smoke alarm battery failure at 0200 hrs. No one at desk - called after-hours phone number. Told to “Climb up and remove to stop chirping - we’ll replace tomorrow.” Rust/corroded fixture in bathroom. Nice people, but awful place.

The hotel is a motel, doors on the outside. Room was kinda clean. Bathroom sink had not been cleaned. One of the beds did not have a bottom sheet. The staff gave us cleaning supplies and another sheet. Cannot recommend to anyone who isn’t a tweaker.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The decor is a little out dated. It had a tv and easy to use. It was a little noisy from people walking on the upstairs walkway late at night. I was glad it had a little frig in the room. But on the whole is was pretty ok.

The pictures on the web site are deceiving. The room was dirty, the curtains were dirty and handing by a thread and I had to find a way to hand them up. The towels were dirty. When I pulled into my room people were in my room, and they were just cleaning it. Could not find the remote to the tv and the gentleman looked in the fridge, under the couch, under the bed...crazy! Duct tape on the door to keep the air out. Extremely disappointed. Will never even consider staying there again.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING
We booked the OYO for two nights. When we arrived two other families were leaving after viewing the room and told us “good luck.” Since we had already booked, I figured we would see for ourselves. The room we viewed was VISIBLY filthy — floors, dirty stained bedding, and some unknown brown wiped down the walls. My 11 year old saw the room and stated, “I’m not staying in here. Can we just sleep in the car? We sat in the parking lot looking for other accommodations and watched two more parties pull in, go see room, and leave. I’m pretty sure that this place is only still afloat as it refuses to refund folks who prepay but don’t stay as they don’t fancy filthy accommodations or taking the chance on bedbugs. Shame on Hotels.com for making this option available with no refund policy.

Due to no availability anywhere, we spent the night here. Although they are trying to remodel this hotel, there are many cosmetic issues in the rooms still and trash under the beds. I felt like I slept with one eye open. Couch was dirty. The door did not lock properly. Sheets were clean but stained. Poor lighting around the property.

Mildew or mold surrounded the shower. Toilet was dirty. Vehicle vandalized in the parking lot.

Arrived to find dirty sheets and towel. Had to request clean sheets and install them ourselves. Lock on door did not work. Graffiti on walls behind door. Our reservation was for a king bed and the room had a double. TV remote did not work.

This place was a dump. I couldnt even bring myself to stay here. Very shady place. Rooms with windows busted out and plywood over the window.

This place was nasty
This was a $60 hotel and you get what you pay for. It was absolutely disgusting holes in the walls, sticky floors and the door was held together with duct tape.
