#Golf-cart->LakeBeach-Storybook Cottage Charming and Whimsical

Tucked away in a quiet lakeside community. Only 6.4 miles to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge.

Hop on the Golf Cart and head on over to the Beach, through neighborhood to Morganton Point Recreational Area where you can enjoy Lake access, public beach, kayak & paddle board rentals, a boat ramp and the most beautiful sunsets.

After the beach take the Gold Cart over to Nomads market for lunch and ice cream.

Great neighborhood for walking, biking, and easy paved road access. Always excellent wifi and cell service along with large working desk and comfortable chair make it great for working remotely.

THE SPACE:
Graced by surrounding mountains, our "Storybook cottage" is made of lovely log construction and exudes time honored charm. A dining nook adjoins an eclectic kitchen that while small, is stocked with everything a cook would want. Two guest bedrooms downstairs lead to an open deck, while a large "sleeping loft" holds 3 twin beds and extra bathroom.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
Our cabin is located in the lakeside community of Ridgeview Heights and is conveniently located to everything. Less then a two minute drive to MORGANTON POINT RECREATIONAL AREA you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets over Lake Blue Ridge. Morganton point also provides a PUBLIC BEACH where you can rent canoes, paddle boards, or just spend the day swimming. Take a peaceful leisurely stroll through the neighborhood.... soaking in the scenic Mountain views along gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge and checking out some of the most beautiful little homes by the lake. We are about 5 or so miles to an Ingles grocery store and Downtown Blue Ridge. For any last minute items that may be needed there is a Dollar General store available just out side our neighborhood. Easy All paved road access.

Beautiful neighborhood

The house was exactly as listed. It was very clean and everything was nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked so we had everything we needed to cook. It rained all but one day of our stay so we didnā€™t get to enjoy the beach area, but the neighborhood has beautiful views from the beach area. The roads in the neighborhood are one lane in some places and barely 2 lanes in others, so thatā€™s something to be aware of. Thankfully we only met another car a couple of times. Itā€™s a very quiet area, so itā€™s perfect if you are looking for a relaxing stay.

A spectacular stay!!! Enjoyed the golf cart rides to the lake, cards/games on the deck, and eating in town at Mikeā€™s bbq and Black Sheep (both the best food Iā€™ve had in a long time). This place was a magical storybook cottage experience! The perfect get away and location of place. We WILL BE BACK!!!!

Spring Break Simple Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our 11-year-old daughter. We found plenty to do around the area, including downtown, the train ride, hiking, fun little golfcart trips around the neighborhood into the lake. Everything was great in the house. Itā€™s always nice to already have seasonings in the kitchen when cooking away from home. This would be a great place to go in the summertime.

Perfect relaxing vacation!

Storybook cottage is completely accurate! So peaceful Perfect for our family of 5. This was the perfect location for our family to get away from it all. Within an hourā€™s drive of Amicalola Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, Helen - all of which we visited. Downtown Blue Ridge close by was another daytime outing. Rainy day spent inside the cabin was thoroughly enjoyable and became family game day. Cabin had everything we needed for a much needed get away!

Holiday magic

The cottage was lovely, clean and well furnished with a very user friendly kitchen and dining area. We really appreciated the Christmas decor and tree for tne children.They also enjoyed the golf cart to ride down to the lake for wading in the cold water and rock hunting, as well as frisby with their Dad. All in all it was even better than we expected,and was a perfect fit for our holiday budget. We would definitely like to rent it again for family.

The cottage is in a lovely mountain landscape. The fireplace kept the cottage cozy during the cold weather. There really wasnā€™t anywhere to take the golf cart as the lake and restaurant werenā€™t open.

Peaceful neighborhood

This home was comfortable, adequate, spacious, and in what appeared to be a very peaceful neighborhood. It was perfect for the two of us and would've worked just as well if we had traveled with another couple of for a family with kids. We shared multiple messages with the owner before and throughout our stay, all of which were addressed very quickly. We would definitely return to this area and this home

Fall Vacay in north Georgia

It was a great place to stay! Nice and quiet and away from towns! Scenery was gorgeous. About the only problem we had was that we got there after dark and access was a little scary getting our luggage out and down the hill to the front door. Otherwise, everything was great.

Lovely stay - location and space!

We enjoyed a 4 night stay - myself and 3 adult children. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, the linens were clean, etc. We especially enjoyed the firepit and chairs and use of the golf cart. The owner was very responsive when I had a couple of questions. The only thing I would say for others...if you are sensitive to noise...this cottage has zero sound barriers. You can hear EVERYTHING from every room - the cool wood ceilings are also the floor above and without any other insulation, sheet rock, you can hear it all. We didn't care too much, but if you are there with multiple couples or light sleepers, it could be. Highly recommend!

Nice place!

We had a great time at the cottage. It located close to the lake and not far from downtown Blue Ridge. The inside was very nice and very clean. The only complaints we had were 1) the exterior doors sticking( hard to open) due to temperature changes ( we were notified in the check-in email about this so it wasnā€™t a surprise just annoying). This would also put the electric lock on the door in a bind sometimes, but there was a key in a lock box to assist with opening the door. 2) Due to it being a older cottage the upstairs floor was squeaky so anyone in a bedroom on the main floor could hear every move from above. All in all itā€™s was a nice place and w would stay there again!
