"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. "The perfect location, friendly staff, with a beautiful rustic room. We had a great stay, thankyou so much!"

"The room was clean but had a number of issues : Although there was a coffee machine , a radio , and a fan there were no bedside lights. The main light switch by the door was the only control meaning finding your way around in the dark. The notice on the wall of upcoming events was a month out of date There were nasty glass mugs rather than a proper mug or cup The snack basket for occupants to purchase was vastly over priced There were birds nesting in the roof over the room which were noisy...

"We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one...
