"EVERYTHING was even better than described or shown in the pictures. Got plenty of help from the hosts.We are a large family who have gathered in a variety of accommodation styles.This time was for the passing of the oldest sister. As sad as this event would be, the beauty of the surroundings, the impeccable rooms and amenities soon had all voicing the same praises, "This is the kind of place only our mother could have found". "This is a very nice house. If Burke Mountain/Kingdom Trails are where you want to be, this can't be beat. 2 minutes from the main drag, this place is quiet and comfortable. It has a nice deck, a good view. A good place to kick back after skiing or biking."

"We had a great stay!! The view from the house was awesome. We rented kayaks one day from Clyde River Rec and spent the day on the lake. We also hiked to the summit of Mt. Pisgah. All very close by. There is basically no service in the area and wifi is unreliable but we totally enjoyed being off the grid! The Gap restaurant was close by and good. Mostly picked up food from local farm stands though. Overall great stay and owner was responsive!! "
