"We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We stayed with our new born and we were greeted with a lovely baby towel, wash and cot upon our arrival to the room. Our stay was peaceful and just how we wanted to see in our new year. Staff allowed us to order a local takeaway and eat in our room & provided cutlery when the food arrived. Breakfast was amazing and included various options. "

"I reserved the Wimslow Lodge through hotels.com which had never failed me before. They gave a price to be paid at check in but the Wimslow Lodge charged 30 pounds more. I presented proof of the reservation to the receptionist who disregarded it and maintained the price she had asked for. What a shame!!!"

"Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "
