A two-car carport is also available, giving you a convenient place to keep your vehicles protected from the weather during your stay.

Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the porch overlooking the pond. Sit back, listen to the peaceful sounds of nature, and enjoy the beautiful view as the property comes to life around you. Keep your eyes open—you may even catch a glimpse of deer or wild turkeys wandering through the property while you sip your morning coffee.

Step outside and enjoy the beautiful scenic pond and wooded property. Bring your fishing poles and spend a relaxing afternoon fishing from one of our four docks, or take the paddle boat out for a peaceful ride across the water.

For even more adventure, bring your canoe or kayak and explore the nearby North Fork or Triplett Creek for a scenic ride on the water. It’s another wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of the Morehead area during your stay.

If you enjoy exploring on foot, stroll along the pond or venture across the 2 miles of trails throughout the property for a more adventurous hike. Pack a lunch and enjoy one of the five picnic tables tucked along the trails and throughout the property.

Traveling with adventurous kids? Bring their tent! There are cleared areas in the woods near the cottage where they can enjoy a fun camping experience while still being close to the comforts of the cottage.

After a day of hiking, fishing, paddling, and exploring, come back and unwind in the hot tub tucked under the covered porch. Soothe those tired muscles, relax in the warm water, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Pour yourself a glass of wine, settle in, and let the quiet of the property help you wind down after an adventure-filled day.

As evening arrives, gather around your private firepit for a relaxing night under the Kentucky stars. Your host will even start the fire for you and provide ample firewood to keep the embers glowing, so all you need to do is settle in and enjoy the warmth of the fire.
