"The pictures do not give this place justice! If you’re looking for a safe quiet atmosphere to rest & unplug from the world this is the place. Less is more .. less distractions and more peace more rest more time to reflect and create anew! I would highly recommend and would come back here. Btw, owners are very responsive- I had no issues! "

"This property is so cute and tucked away! We watched the sunset and the sunrise with some wine, and it was perfect. There’s three other smaller “cabins” on the hilltop but I’ve stayed twice and people are very respectful and quiet. Recommend staying for a couples or solo getaway to relax and recharge!"

"Property and facilities are exactly as described. The tiny home was super clean and bug free with the screened in porch. It was a very positive experience. No cell service but awesome wifi."

"everything was GREAT loved the place. check in was fine.. kitchen all one needed.could use a blender small one but still great Showers were a little slick, put a towel down before stepping in. The porch is a great place to read and listen to the stream I loved it. "

"Cabin was very clean and well supplied with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. We loved the stream behind the cabin and spent many hours exploring and just floating in the water. The location was near many of the activities we were looking for such as mountain climbing and river tubing. Our last night provided clear skies and we spent hours laying on a blanket and star gazing. We had a great week and really enjoyed our stay. "

"The home is beautiful! The creek was absolutely amazing! Water rafts available to float down the river and explore. Plenty of lawn chairs provided! Check in was a breeze. Essentials available in kitchen. Bring your own bottled water to drink, cook with, use for ice and coffee. The water is safe but has a well water smell. Susan, the property manager, is SO fun! Visit Hidden Gems . It's close enough to walk to. It’s definitely hidden so watch for signs. You will park on the side of the road. "

"We actually loved the cabin itself, and the creek flowing in the back, and the backyard was phenomenal. Communication with the owner was very good. We had one or two difficult issues, which were solved after we left. The biggest issue was that it was very far out, 35 minutes minimum to Boone, and whenever a car or truck drove by the dust if it had not rained or was pretty bad. But we love the property, and our two labradors loved the creek! Overall, it was a lovely stay."

"Very cute and cozy! The creek is amazing. When checking in: if you’re coming from 421, Apple Maps will lie to you and say “you’ve arrived!” before you’ve actually arrived! Just keep driving! There will be a house number sign by the driveway. "

"Beautiful mountain view from the front porch! We saw lots of deer. The beds were comfortable! It has a really nice fireplace that was easy to turn on/off. We spent a day at Tweetsie Railroad for Heritage Weekend which was 30 miles away from the cabin. We traveled to Mt. Airy to visit the home place of Andy Griffith which was one and a half hours away. We didn't bring pets but it is pet friendly and would consider it for another stay."

"We loved the attention to detail with the decor of the room. It reminded us of luxury safari tents. The bed was comfortable; the coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator were useful, and the ambience was fantastic. The only downside is having the restroom up the hill, but the restroom was clean and included nice showers. I would definitely stay in the tent again, though it would be nice to stay for a longer time."

"Nice getaway for a couple. We needed peace and quiet and thats what we got. Cell service is terrible. It has wifi but most of the weekend it was out. We just gave our adult kids house phone number in case of emergency. We celebrated our 31st anniversary just relaxing and only going out for dinner. Very clean and easy check in."
