Tiahura Polynesian Luxury Villa

Splendid villa with spacious living areas surrounded by a tropical garden of 2,500 sqm. You will enjoy your meals and cocktails in the shade of the terrace or the "fare potee" overlooking the lagoon. You may see many fishes, stingrays passing by and amazing sunsets.
EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION for activities in 2 minutes from the renowned spot of stingrays. Private beach and secured swimming for young children.
4 bikes, 3 kayaks, 2 paddles, badminton, petanque available.
For younger children recreation area (chairs, plastic toys) can be installed on the beach on demand.

Convenience store at the entrance of the residence.
Very close to surf and kitesurf spots.
Many shops, gas station, restaurants and activities nearby ( tree climbing, quad rides, jet-ski ...).

The villa has 3 Polynesian inspired bungalows. Tastefully decorated, bathrooms stone Moorea, mirrors decorated with shells, patio, scenery guaranteed!
Modern and featuring quality amenities (ceiling fans and AC in the 4 bedrooms, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, coffee and espresso machines, Gas BBQ grill, High Speed Internet Access, Wireless Internet)
Bath and beach towels provided.

Tahia will welcome you and give you the keys and a remote control for the automatic gate.
She can also advise and help for booking activities available on Moorea.

Truly wonderful stay. Property is remarkable both for its size and location right on the water. Many thoughtful touches including a great welcome basket, free access to kayaks and paddle boards and other items that really made for a great stay. As others have said, just sitting out on the wonderful deck and taking it all in was fabulous in the mornings and evenings, and the afternoon breezes made it very comfortable. The convenience store at the end of the street is remarkably convenient and if you are there on the right days, paddling over to Coco Beach for lunch is a must do. We would stay there again in a heart beat. One other tip: the guided snorkeling trip out of the Sofitel with the propeller driven battery packs and full face covered masks will spoil you for life...

Fantastic property directly on the beach, the rays/sharks motu is 200 yards away. We paddled out on one of the 4 kayaks early in the morning to have the place all to ourselves. Parents watched from the palapa sipping their coffee and enjoying the sunrise. Two buildings on property each with 2BA/2BD, one of each with bathrooms en suite. Bedrooms were good size. Bonus is that all of the bedrooms have A/C AND steel shutters you can lower for a complete blackout in the room! Short stairs many places to get into the house and in en suite bathrooms - no handrails - heads up if that is tricky for you. Absolutely everything you could need at the house. Small market a block away with a bit of everything - no need to go to a larger store near ferry. House manager was awesome, very helpful and met us at check-in to show us around.

The property was exactly as described—clean, beautifully maintained, and designed to take full advantage of the ocean view. The location is great - walking distance to a restaurant and convenience store. Short drive to shopping and more restaurants. Paddle out in the kayaks to snorkeling and shark viewing. The home itself had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and great outdoor furniture to enjoy the view. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it. We would absolutely come back again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect Moorea stay.

Tahia (the property manager) was wonderful. At check-in she noticed a plumbing issue that needed to be resolved, and arranged for the work to be done with a minimum of impact on our stay.The house is as described and pictured, the location is great, with easy access to the lagoon and a five minute walk to Magasin Tiahura, the small local grocery (and everything else) where we got our supplies and daily croissants and patiseries. The kayaks and paddleboards (paddles) worked well and were used every day.The house accomodated me and my wife, our three adult children and 6 year-old granddaughter perfectly Be ready to handle mosquitoes (especially during the rainy season) - this is not an issue specific to this house, but anywhere on Mo'orea. This is a great house with a great location and a great property manager.

Our family of 5 had a delightful week stay. Property is gorgeous and well equipped with all house/ water( paddle board, kayaks, pingpong table, games, bikes) activities necessities. Great host! Very easy to communicate with. House (main and cottage) is very comfortable, and stylishly decorated( bathrooms are amazing ! ) is located in a perfect spot - facing the best snorkeling adventures. Short 10 min kayak trip to see sharks and stingrays - guaranteed! Please respect coral and go around- follow recommendations to get to snorkeling spot. Also beautiful islands around with coco beach and more. Very highly recommend to book it for unforgettable memories! We’ll be back !

The Tiahura Villa is a small slide of paradise. There are so many comfortable places to lounge and enjoy the lovely view. We really enjoyed the availability of kayaks to paddle around in the lagoon. The house was clean, well designed and well-appointed. We were not lacking for any amenity that we wished we had. We were met at the property and given clear instructions of the house and grounds. Communications were very good before, during and after our stay. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioners in the bedrooms were efficient and quite. It was a wonderful place to be for our week-long stay.

This was the most amazing Villa, we didn't want to leave. There was so much room to spread out in the shade. The kitchen had everything you would want. The beds were so comfortable and the AC worked very well. But the star of the show was watching fish TV every night from the Fare.

This place was perfect! Really a hidden gem. The pictures don’t do it justice. Kitchen is very well equipped even with spices. The place was very clean upon arrival (keeping it that way was a challenge with 3 kids and 4 adults!) and we stayed for 2 weeks. They did come and clean mid stay which was wonderful. The toys— it was great having kayaks and 2 paddle boards! There were 4 kayaks- 1 single, 1 double , 1 double/triple, 1 -up to 4 person— this one has a hole though so be careful… we almost sunk w 4 people! LOL. Bikes—. Yeah— there are 3 bikes— but they are in pretty bad condition, except 1 of them. I don’t recommend using them. We hurt for days afterwards!Being so close to the sting rays was amazing! We went out there almost everyday. It was irritating watching the people not use the channels to paddle out during low tides and walking over the coral. Please don’t do that. Overall, this place is wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay! We hope to be back sometime!

Vacation in Moorea and Tahiti

We loved this place! We stayed with our group of 10, including two families with 3 adult children and 3 teenagers. Everyone had a bed, though we did bring the bed from the front room into the biggest bedroom so that everyone had air conditioning when they slept. The house and property is so calm and relaxing. The private beach with the covered de k and all of the chairs is perfect. Also the paddle boards and kayaks allow you to get out into the water to see the bigger coral and even to join the snorkeling boats for the feeding of the rays and sharks. There are buoys/ropes to tie up to out at those spots. We anlso loved watching the fish swim by with the lights on the water ant night. Our dive shop was close by, and everything else was accessible easily. The kitchen is well stocked. I would recommend stopping by one of the bigger grocery stores on the way. We did run into stores being closed on Sunday, which was difficult. We would definitely stay here again if we come back!

Could not have improved on this stay

This home was all we could have wished for and more. We can't recommend it highly enough. We were a group of three couples and one single so the layout was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we could need to prepare meals. The laundry room was a huge bonus after spending the week prior on a sailboat. But the best part was the swimming and snorkeling right off the beach in front of the home and spending long evenings watching all the sea life swim by after sunset. Just an excellent experience!

Beautiful house in a great location

6 of us had an amazing stay at this house in Sept. It has everything you could possibly need. The location is close to where you snorkel with sharks and rays and coco beach. We went to both on paddle boards and kayaks provided. There is plenty of space for people to gather or to be spread apart depending on your mood. Do not hesitate to book!

Dream villa perfect for families with toddlers

We had an AMAZING, unforgettable week at this incredible villa. It's easily the most wonderful property I've ever stayed at and we were all saying how much we'd love to return - we really enjoyed ourselves! We couldn't believe our luck to have found such a gem. It's so spacious that all the families had room to spread out. The rooms were so nice and the beds were super comfortable. They did such a nice job with the design and decor. The little ones had so much fun with the sand toys and my daughter was saying how much she missed the garden when we were at our next stop. We hardly wanted to leave our own little resort with our private beach! The kayaks and paddleboards were a great bonus - we loved being able to paddle to go visit the sharks and rays right in our backyard. The fare potee felt almost like having our own overwater bungalow where we got to sit and watch the fish during the peaceful sunrises and sunsets. It was absolutely perfect. Also, the owner had a fantastic recommendation for a local catering service. We were so happy to not have to cook dinner and have delicious meals and gourmet desserts delivered for a reasonable price. We'd definitely return to this dream villa!

Family Paradise

We had a wonderful stay in a family friendly paradise. We loved the location; right on the beach with plenty of shaded outdoor sitting and dining areas. We felt secluded and safe yet we were a pleasant walk away from a grocery store and a short drive away from fun shops. The best snorkeling ever was accessible by easy kayaking from this happy spot. We loved having the flexibility of 2 bedrooms in the house and 2 bedrooms in the separate cottage for an extended family situation. We had meals together—12 of us— at the long table under the covered veranda. We stayed at several different places, including very high end resorts; this home was our favorite!

The BEST property on Mo’orea!

It’s honestly hard to put into words how amazing this property is! We rented this house for a month with our family 7 adults and 2 kids (kids 1 and 4 years old) and it never once felt crowded. The house was stocked with everything we could ever need from toys to cooking supplies. We kept laughing because every time we tried to leave the house to go explore another part of the island we always ended up back at home because it was just too comfortable and we didn’t want to be anywhere else, even after a month! We’ve stayed at many other water front houses on Moorea and never loved a spot more. The sand and water out front is amazing for lounging in, it was a short paddle from the sharks and rays and just a 2 min walk down the street from a great waterfront restaurant and the market which is stocked with anything you’d want. The kitchen had tons of supplies and we used the paddle boards and kayaks every day. Tons of comfortable sitting areas, and the property manager was so kind and easy to communicate with. The sunrise and sunset views are so beautiful here and if you like pretty photographs the whole property is a photographer’s dream. Even at night they have up-lighting in the water and on the trees to make it so ambient and the stars at night here are also incredible. It just doesn’t get better than this and coming from seasoned travelers and a group who has stayed on Moorea 5 times in the last 5 years, this is a gem of a vacation rental and we’ll definitely be back!

Upon two years return

Two years ago, we rented this place for a month. This year we did the same. The people coming and going changed a little but was still 2 groups of 6 adults staying 2 weeks each. Can't say much has changed sense our last trip except the cottage has a lovely new bathroom and has been remodeled a bit. Very nicely done. I don't know if my review is still up from before, but I would say this trip was equally great.

Beachside Villa with loads of equipment

Lovely location, easy to paddle to Coco beach, lovely snorkel spots. Villa perfect for large family group. Lots of areas to sit and eat, BBQ, relax. Shop 2 mins walk away for your morning baguette and croissant. Rooms lovely. Highly recommended.

Just keeping this review simple, this is a 5-Star vacation rental. Its location is superior! The host responded immediately to our needs, and we are already looking at our schedule to rent out again next year for two weeks during the whale season. Once there, you will not want to leave!

Awesome house!

House was fully stocked and great location on beach with snorkeling 200 yds away. The only complaint we had was the main house should have A/C because it would get so hot. The bedrooms had A/C but it would be nice to have the main room as well. Everything else was great!
