Mediocre at best
First we ended up having to stay at a partner property called Cozy Inn. We were not informed by the property or by Hotels.com about this change. We got to the motel late while traveling. The beds were small. I killed a bug on the floor as soon as I walked in. And it was an expensive property in a very small town for no good reason. Wish we drove a little further down the road but we were tired.

All the information IS provided and explained before you book the room, it is NOT our fault that you did not read the page. That was evident when you were in the office with me. Our prices are the cheapest in the area. Motels vary in price depending where you are at and put prices are normal here.

This motel cancelled our reservation - that I made several months ago- with less than 24 hours warning. They said the reason was ongoing renovations, but I find it hard to believe they didn't know they were renovating until the morning of our reservation! I heard speculation that they had a larger party interested in booking and that's why our one-night stay was cancelled. I certainly would not recommend this motel

Actually, what I said was that we had unexpected repairs needed to a room and it left us with less available rooms than normal, and I notified you that I couldn't accommodate you more than just one day in advance, however due to the websites own mechanics, I wasn't able to cancel it the same day I sent you the message. These things happen, I can't predict or prevent damages done to a room by someone and when it happens shortly before a full night, this is the result.

Oldie not exactly Goldie but ok
This is a very old motel.. the inside of the rooms are much better than the outside appearance. WIFI was fine, place was passable.. I stayed here as it was the cheapest option in the area during Sturgis festival. The West Texas Trail Museum was interesting, free and the management friendly.

Decrepit facility. Should not be in operation. Check in was not a good system and clerk was not familiar with operation. Motel should be closed down.

What are you talking about? The place is fine, it's a small town motel not a 5 star top of the line hotel. We're quite familiar with operations, the only question there was, is what rooms were ready to go, which is common with any and all motels.

Cozy, perhaps a little too much so.
This is a nice place to stay if you are looking for a quaint motel in a small town. This motel is actually run by the same people who run the Cozy Motel in town and so rooms are interchangeable between the two locations, however there is no front desk staff at the Moorcourt location. For this reason I adjusted my room with no issues to the Cozy Motel. Room was clean and a little small. The "closet" hangs over one of the beds and there was very little room should you need to hang clothes and use both beds. There was a refrigerator and an AC unit that worked very well to cool off the room quickly. All of the linens were clean and fresh and everything was very tidy and nice. Wifi was fine and never had any issues logging in to use it. Overall this was a positive experience and I would recommend staying there in the future should you have an event or something going on in the area. Very close to Devil's Tower National Monument. There are several places to eat nearby and the menu in the room is accurate for the closest place which is Donna's. Food was very good and I do recommend this local diner to all who are staying at this location.

I can say don't judge the book by its cover, this hotel's outside appearance is not so fancy, but the inside looks fantastic

Moorcourt Motel
This is a no frills motel. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. If you are looking for updated luxury this is not the place for you. If you just need a place to sleep and shower it's perfect.

Decent for One Night
The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. Beds are uncomfortable at best. TV didn't work. In a town as small as Moorcroft, WY, there are VERY few options. At least it was clean; if you only need one night it will work.

I'm sorry that you were not happy with the beds, I've had good compliments and bad depending on people's taste of firmness. As for the tv, I really wish you had mentioned you were having troubles, i would have been able to inform you that it needs to be on channel 3 for directv. I have checked it since your stay and it worked fine. But thank you for staying with us!

Clean and Cheap, but its age shows
The owners of this motel were very pleasant to interact with, and it gave our family a place to stay between two long travel days. It was an older motel, which showed, thought it was very well cleaned. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but they were sufficient.

The first room we were assigned was being used for storage! When I returned to the front desk, there was no one to help me. I was very disappointed.

Sandra I fear that you are mistaken, we don't have any rooms that we use for storage in that entire building you stayed in. As for their not being any one at the front desk, this is a small family-run motel and we cannot always be at the front desk at all hours of the day as we have other duties that take us away from the office. I am saddened to hear of your disappointment with your stay here and I apologize for any inconvenience you may have had but I believe there some mixed up facts in your story.
