"The house is in a quiet neighborhood. We loved all the vintage furniture and decor. The kitchen is fully stocked. The house has been updated, but has kept its original charm. The hostess made herself readily available by text. We would definitely stay there again. We came to this area to see the large items in Casey Ill, which was only 15 minutes away. "

"Absolutely loved this little house in the woods by the river, it was the perfect getaway! Peaceful, private, surrounded by nature, and had everything you could possibly need. "This my second stay at the Bunk House for my family's annual reunion. The home is spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is plenty of seating in the dining room and on the deck that we use when we gather for meals. My family and I will be returning next summer. "We are quite familiar with Lake Sara and the area the house was located so easy to find. It is a wonderful house and property. The owners were very responsive to all questions and concerns. There was a severe rainstorm one day with a power outage but a simple fix with the owner's help was all that was needed. "
