  • La Capinera is a very charming, comfortable small house, located in a very quiet position and undiscovered and beautiful area at just 3 km away from the village of Montopoli. The property is equipped with all modern facilities, including air conditioning in the bedrooms, hi-fi system, wi-fi connection and satellite TV. The house is surrounded by a very large and well maintained flat garden, where an unusually big pool for such a small house is situated. It has a salted water filter system that avoids the use of chlorine. The garden is fenced all around, making it very safe for children, and there is also a children’s play area. To one side of the house is a covered terrace, furnished for outdoor dining. The property is an ideal holiday base for a small families, wishing to enjoy their holiday in complete peace and privacy. The property La Capinera is also a good base to explore Tuscany, being conveniently located only 10 kms from a highway connecting Pisa and Florence. Both can be reached in approximately half an hour’s drive and San Gimignano is 40 kms away. Resident cats at the property.
    Please note that this property is on the same estate as Le Rondini which can be rented for lager groups.

    Cleaning service is included 2 hours a week.

Lovely villa, the kids loved the pool area and has everything you need. Nice welcome on arrival from Erika. It’s a very peaceful location but the town (Montopoli) is also close by and supermarkets a short drive away. Would happily recommend!

Das Haus, das Grundstück und der Pool sind noch schöner, als es die Fotos zeigen. Hier kann man wirklich relaxen. Sehr gut geeignet für den Urlaub mit Hund. Die Zufahrtsstraßen sind sehr schmal, bei Gegenverkehr wird es kritisch. Das benachbarte Ferienhaus sieht man kaum und die dortigen Gäste hört man nur. Alles in allem eine tolle Urlaubslocation!

Das Haus, das Grundstück und der Pool sind noch schöner, als es die Fotos zeigen. Hier kann man wirklich relaxen. Sehr gut geeignet für den Urlaub mit Hund. Fabulous Villa, beautiful grounds,amazing pool

Lovely Villa in the Arno Valley. The villa isn't large (two bedroom and a sofabed downstairs) but the grounds are beautiful and spacious and the pool is pristine and large. Kitchen is not large but well equipped, and there's a barbecue as well. Internet is a bit flaky (WiFi drops a lot) but that's really the only criticism. Loved it here.

Das Haus und vor allem der Pool sind fantastisch. Man befindet sich inmitten der Natur an einem absoluten Wohlfühlort. Wer dir Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus haben wir absolut sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet vorgefunden. Es fehlt hier an Nichts. Der Pool wird jeden Morgen gereinigt und lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen.

The house and especially the pool are fantastic. You are in the midst of nature in an absolute feel-good place. If you love peace and quiet, this is the place for you. We found the house absolutely clean and very well equipped. Nothing is missing here. The pool is cleaned every morning and also leaves nothing to be desired. (translated from German)

La Capinera is a great country villa. It lives up to and beyond the photos of the property. It is well maintained, well equipped and a delightful place to stay. The pool is terrific and we treasured it during the heat wave. The owners are very nice and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived.

A beautiful house run by a warm family. Never stayed in a vacation house with so much comfort. Top comfort in a beautiful setting very near to a nice and authentic village. Top cleaning. Top position with a nice view and very private. Nice views, in the middle of nature. The villa stands near a bigger villa but the privacy is 100%.It was really as described on the website ! Everything we needed was available. TOP TOP swimming pool, 100% private. Also top and good working airconditioning. Try the local restaurants …

we have spent holidays in La Capinera second time (first time in May 2015), because we have found this place like a small paradiese in Tuscany landscape - calm place, nice house, swimming pool, large garden for our dogs, view to Arno valley. Good location for visits of Florence, Pisa, Lucca cca 30-40 km on highway. Montopoli itself is a nice small village with good restaurants. Vito di Praga

We booked La Capinera for a week for our honeymoon and just loved it. We were greeted by the owners with glasses of fizz to celebrate our wedding, and were very soon left on our own in our little paradise in Tuscany. A great base to see Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Sienna and the Chianti wine region, we were torn between traversing the Italian countryside cursing the SatNav and relaxing by our very own private pool. We cooked, we drank, we relaxed and had the time of our life. A wonderful place with wonderful memories. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time at La Capinera. I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful property this was. My kids (age 10 and 7) never wanted to leave the pool and the house was comfortable and just what we were looking for in terms of a vacation rental. It is close enough that you can easily day day trips either by car or train to all of the major cities.

Exceed our expectations. The villa is even more stunning in person! The staff took great care to ensure that the villa was spotless for us. Easy to find, off of the Fi-Pi-Li SGC. Th location was he perfect starting point to drive to Pisa, Firenze, Etruscan towns, etc... The salt water pool was an absolute dream! We swam everyday and our baby loved tThe town of Montopoli Val D'Arno is a quintessential Italian town with laundry hanging betWeen buildings, local foods ops and establishments, authentic pizzeria and caffe. We felt like we were able to get a glimpse into real Italian life during our outings into town. All of the townspeople were extremely friendly. he water as well.
