Welcome to the serene and leafy tiny house! This farm stay QLD getaway is set on a well-kept, expansive 5.5-acre countryside property and embodies the inviting warmth of rural hospitality. Our tiny home is located in Monto Caravan and Cabin Park, located just a stone's throw from the quaint town of Monto.

Discover a rich tapestry of historic, cultural, and artistic experiences in the North Burnett region while enjoying the tranquility of nature. Unwind among a paradise of birds, sitting by the fire pit among friendly travelers or just to breathe in the country air.



The Space:

This accommodation is a tiny house placed in Monto Caravan and Cabin Park, a getaway right beside rural Monto and an hour’s drive from the town of Biloela. It’s a spacious, well-kept van site surrounded by gardens with amenities described by many travellers as 'the cleanest they have come across, nearby local attractions such as Cania Gorge, Flying High Bird Park, Capricorn Caves, and Urangan Pier.



It's a cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with well-furnished guest rooms, wide public spaces, and comfortable seating areas. Easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities included. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

The Neighborhood:

Monto, having come into existence as recently as 1924, and an hour’s drive from the town of Biloela. Enjoy some good old country hospitality and 'tucka' at 1 of 2 town pubs. In town, you will find cafes, supermarkets, Australia Post, banking, pharmacy and a variety of shops.



The great outdoors await in all directions just a drive out of Monto!



Our local recommendations:



- Cania Gorge is home to a national park where you can discover aboriginal free-hand art along towering cliffs, in ancient caves and sheltered gorges while walking down its tracks.

- Flying High Bird Park is the largest free-flight aviary in Australia and has over 2000 birds. Visitors can walk around inside the aviary to admire the birds in their magnificence.

- Capricorn Caves presents exploration with breath-taking views from the summit and a true bucket-list adventure, allowing you to experience the breathtaking acoustics in the Cathedral Cave as you explore.

- Urangan Pier is one of the longest in Australia. It stretches for almost one kilometre into the ocean. A walk to the end will reward with spectacular views of Hervey Bay and the chance to see schools of fish, stingrays or pods of dolphins just metres out to sea.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Smoking is allowed only outside, away from buildings

- Mobile reception is good for Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, 2degrees and Spark

- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings

- Please keep in mind that some areas are shared, such as the BBQ grill, chairs, etc.

- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests

- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge



Important note:



- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
