La Casa del Gigante Luxury Sea View Villa

Summary:

An extraordinary luxury villa in Monterosso al Mare, next to the famous statue of the Giant — once part of the prestigious Villa Pastine. Magnificently restored, it blends history, striking architecture and views over the Ligurian Sea. A welcome package awaits, designed for our large villas: trofie pasta, pesto, a bottle of local wine and taggiasca olives, plus milk, orange juice and some seasonal fruit already in the fridge — the first evening's dinner is almost ready. 140 sqm over two levels, sleeps up to 4.



The Space:

Lower level: a bedroom carved into the rock, air conditioned, with a small terrace, and a sofa bed configurable as a double, single, or two separate beds, plus a private bathroom accessible from the living room. Upper level: a spacious mezzanine with a king-size double bedroom and a private bathroom with a panoramic sea-view shower, a striking living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a sofa for seating only (not a sofa bed), a designer kitchen (induction hob, tall fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso, washer-dryer). Chef-at-Home service and Ligurian pasta and pesto classes available on request.

The Neighborhood:

Next to Monterosso's statue of the Giant, with sea views by day and by night thanks to the huge arched windows.



Getting Around:

Monterosso's centre and beach are an easy walk away.

Pets not allowed.



We leave a few breakfast basics in the kitchen for your first morning (croissants, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, portioned powdered milk, sugar); where a kitchen is available, also our award-winning extra virgin olive oil from a local producer whose mill and honey production can be visited on one of our experiences, plus salt and washing-up liquid, and washing machine/dishwasher pods where fitted. Bed and bath linen included, with shower gel, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Professional cleaning.



Our concierge office in Vernazza is open 9:30am–7:00pm from 1 March to 31 October; outside this period the office is closed, with presence available on request. We're always happy to welcome guests staying in any of the other villages too, whether for a quick hello or for advice on local experiences and activities.
