"Great choice to stay in Stepantsminda. The hotel is walking distance to the main town if you want to eat there. Yet, food at the hotel is spectacular!! I had both breakfast and dinner, and they were both amazing. Staff is super friendly; they made my stay very enjoyable. Lastly, the view!! It is really, really nice."

"The lodge was cosy, warm and nicely furnished with everything you’d need. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. The lodge is located at the foot of the mountains so when you wake up you’ve got Mountain veiws through all th windows. The local animals are friendly and clean, puppies and cats everywhere. We even had a really friendly orange and white cat join us for snuggles one evening. He was clean and loving. The entire stay was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended for...

"We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. "
