It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! "We had a wonderful stay! We would definitely book again. My only minor complaint is that the building actually has two units and you share the backyard. This wouldn't be a big deal for us, but we could hear the neighbors snoring through the wall at night. We loved watching the sunset out back. We even saw deer in the yard. "We had a great long weekend at the cabin and enjoyed it very much. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and the bed slept just fine. Larry was an amazing host who even called me ahead of the trip to make sure I had directions just in case we lost cell service. Also, he is a very talented artist and had many of his original works hanging in the cabin. My only complaint is I didn’t have 2 cash on me as he had some of his prints for sale...

"Absolutely loved Camp Runamuck for celebrating my mom's retirement and 60th birthday! There is more than enough space for 3 families to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened-in patio and boat dock. We brought a boat with us, and there are 2 TVA boat docks nearby and plenty of room to tie it the house. Janet left a thoughtful note and some cookies for us upon arrival. Cozy spot if you need a family weekend at the lake! "

"The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute.
