"We really enjoyed our stay at the Serenity Point cabin. It's in a gated community and feels quite safe. The cabin is located near the top of the mountain which is great as it's very quiet, but as the listing mentioned, it's a pretty tough drive up with some steep corners so an SUV, 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive is definitely recommended. The cabin was well-furnished and the kitchen had all the things we needed when we stayed in for meals. I would definitely rent this place again in the...

"The Great Aspen Chateau was a great place for a large family gathering. We had 12 adults, a teenager, a 3year old and an infant with plenty of beds and comfortable space for everyone. We drove from 3 states with 5 cars, and it was no problem parking them. Entry to the property was easy and Kelly’s directions to the house were great. "Check-in was seamless! Host was very flexible and we received all necessary information prior to our arrival. House was clean and well appointed. Was equipped with everything you could possibly want or need to prepare meals. Plenty of room to ensure everyone had privacy and room to stretch out. The children in our party loved the large yard and creek. Spent many hours enjoying the outdoor experience. Firepit was a nightly event. Very nice for the whole family to enjoy the gathering together....

"Every year I spend a week with my four older grandchildren. We call it Camp T-Ma. (T-Ma is my grandmother name) The kids loved the river, climbing on the rocks, swimming and fishing. They camped out, or tried to, one night in a tent. We went to Grandfather Mountain, and then hiked a great trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Another day we drove to Damascus to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. The hot tub was a big hit! We loved it!!! "
