"I could live there. The screened in porch was where I spent most of my time watching the creek flow by. The geese visited every day, also a young racoon, bunny, a mink, two fawn made appearances and a turtle strolled lazily by one afternoon on his way back to the creek. The cottage was stocked above and beyond what I expected. Were there things not to MY liking, of course, we all see things differently, but nothing that would deter me from returning. We had our dogs with us and they were...

"Booking was easy! Check in was effortless! Property was beautiful and well-stocked! Everything was spotless! Cozy and comfy! The girls had a great time!This is our 3rd time staying at The Spruce Run Hideaway! Can't wait to come back!"

"My wife and I have passed at AOAA and have stayed in multiple places nearby, but for AOAA, nearby is half an hour or more! This place is 13 minutes from AOAA, out in a beautiful wooded area with a pond, has a nice long driveway to fit my trailer, and is very well kept. The host was very responsive with my few questions. The place is all I could ask for and then some! This has become our new go-to place for our weekend getaways to ride AOAA!"

"Definitely a picturesque, remote setting. Enjoyed experiencing an Amish way of living. Being "off the grid" was a good experience. "

"The apartment has a great downtown location with off street parking which is a big plus. The unit was exceptionally clean and recently remodeled. The one word of caution is the outside stairs to the apartment can be tricky to maneuver with luggage.All in all, a very pleasant stay."

"Very nice cottages. The shower was very small and the water pressure is poor. Everything else was lovely!"

"We stayed there to attend graduation at Bucknell. It’s on a beautiful piece of land, which made for beautiful photos of the family with our graduate. Communication was great and everything was just as it appeared online. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. "

"We stayed in a cabin so my comments only apply to our experience there., The property is very pretty, there is a pond or two, a shuffleboard course, a mini golf course and a playground or two. There was a pool but it was closed when we were there (late Sept). The two small issues that I would bring up are 1) the showers seem to be either completely hot or cold but nothing in between and 2) mattresses in the cabins are a bit stiff. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. "

"Very nice cabin and close to the creek."

"Beautiful, well maintained cabin inside and out. Private location beside a creek, surrounded by woods yet very close to everything you need. Will hopefully rent it again. "

"The cabin was cozy and secluded - a great way to spend our anniversary! The weather wasn't great, but we were only 15 minutes from our favorite antique mall, and we spent the time at the cabin watching old movies on VCR, reading, and just relaxing on the porch. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities we needed. "

"This farm house had everything we needed. Privacy galore! Enjoyed family time sitting around a campfire listening to the frogs sing from a nearby pond.House was clean and beds were very comfortable. The host immediately responded to any questions we had. We were able to take our dog who had lots of space to investigate. A most enjoyable couple of days at “Grandmas House”. "

"Property was very clean and like new. Loved the location. Kitchen is well stocked. Able to watch deer from the kitchen. Check in easy and communication with owner was great. Can't say enough about this nice property. Totally recommend!"

"We spent two nights to enjoy a full day in the state forests. The cabin was very clean. It's exactly as pictured. A small space with a couple beds and a table. The showers are a 2-3 minute walk from the cabin, or a shorter drive. The check-in/check-out process was very easy."

"The listing pictures tell the story. The home is clean and comfortable, decorated and furnished in a fun way, and provides all you need for a relaxing riverside retreat or an adventurous vacation. This property also serves as a convenient hideaway for Bucknell University events. Of all the rental properties we've stayed at over the years, this was one of our favorites. Easy self check-in and great communication from the host. "

"Such an amazing property with gorgeous views. Would not recommend this place for people with mobility issues as the stairs, especially going downstairs, are extremely difficult. I actually found it easier to go out the front door and walk around and use the basement door to get to the lower level than use those stairs. The location is remote and very peaceful.
